I have Aroma and Inkay + Nimble on my Wii U, and Splatoon matchmaking was working well. I extracted my account information and tried Splatoon on Cemu on my Mac, and it worked fine, except performance was worse (so I am not going to play on Cemu anymore). I then went back to the Wii U, and now Splatoon matchmaking does not work. At no point did I use the two simultaneously. What might have happened? Should I just try later today?

104-2210. I added the Pretendo DNS server now and it works again. Not sure why I need both Inkay and the DNS servers or if I now not all functions will be supported.

huh. that's very weird, I guess adding the DNS kicked off something to update BOSS data in the system
the usual fix for it is to delete shared save data and unregister WWP BOSS tasks, if you have nimble

Thanks! How do I unregister WWP BOSS tasks? Would I then lose my save data? No problem I guess, I could re-import it

unregistering BOSS data is in inkay settings, while on the home screen press L+down+select, go to inkay, unregister tasks
as for shared save data, no it does not lose you your save, that would happen if you deleted your game save data, the shared data is the one with no icon normally

By the way Pretendo is awesome, I am considering a subscription. My son is fanatic about Splatoon and wanted everything for all versions, and was so disappointed when I told him Nintendo shut down the servers, but thanks to Pretendo he is able to try the first version as well.

Anyway as long as it works with the DNS "solution" I will go with that for the time being and maybe look into it more later
