I do not I launch New Super Mario Bros and it takes me to the homebrew channel
I launch the mocha cfw app from there to use any hacks

Go into Settings > Data Management > and look for either Haxchi or something like DO NOT TOUCH
If you only see Haxchi, you can uninstall it from there
If you see something like DO NOT TOUCH, you have coldboot (CBHC) and will need to do some extra steps first, see https://wiiu.hacks.guide/#/uninstall-cbhc (make sure to follow this carefully, otherwise it can brick your console)

I got homebrew so long ago I don't even remember exactly what I did I just remembered it involved a DS game and NSMB was one I happened to have already and ever since then it just boots it to the homebrew launcher
