I switched to Pretendo and updated my firmware to 1.6.0 for Pretendo, yet it's still showing my old NNID account when I try to access Nintendo Network ID, even though I'm connected to Pretendo. Help?

I had the same problem as well. Updating my 3DS from 11.16 to 11.17 fixed it for me. Be sure luma is updated before doing a system update. Also, it might mess up your badges (it did for me).

Also if it does mess up your badges (it says you have no badges when you try to add badges to your home screen), do not, I repeat, do not open the Badge Arcade. It will detect that your NNID is different and will then automatically delete your save, badge loadout, and possibly other data related to Badge Arcade that I did not notice. There is another support thread with more info.
