But the servers for the game are online, Nintendo just directs server traffic to them don’t they??

that would require a matchmaking system for the server. but creating rooms and joining through friends works fine.

its not really perfect since you can notice that on splatoon.

not at the moment. matchmaking is not currently supported for minecraft.

if you try to join a public room in pretendo the game just softlocks.

PS3 edition has a back button but I guess they forgot that when porting the game to Wii u lol.
