For some reason, I can’t get greater than two stars of competence at Valencia despite running many clean laps consecutively. I lacked three stars at oulton park, decided to run a quick race there with so, and easily got the third star. I did the same at Valencia after, and despite running 8 clean laps in a row, I cannot get the third star. I had two stars going into the 1.9.1.2 update.

Does the line increase when you have the Track Competance showing in the top right?

I'm in a similar situation on PS5. I'm stuck on one star at Valencia, despite doing quite a few laps. I can't remember if I already had that star when 1.9.1.2 came out.

At first I thought I was just driving too badly to get the stars, especially because I was in the Porsche, and it's very easy to get oversteer. But then I switched cars and drove like someone's Grandma but still didn't get any stars.

Yeah, same thing here. I drove at least 8 consecutive laps very cleanly and no update. I’ve noticed from watching some of my friend’s streams back that they’re also no longer at 99 track competence and I bet its because of this. Very strange.

It’s obviously not a big deal, but would be a pain to not be able to join a lobby that required 99 track competence or three start at Valencia.

Did you try with the track competancy on? Does the green line increase at all?

Got the 3 stars at Valencia during the very first race with ratings on… I did practice before of course, then ratings on and 20’ race … no incidents very quiet race … 3 stars.
And it’s 99, I’m only missing the 3 stars at COTA … 🔥
Strange indeed, don’t know why is not giving you the stars …

Was that after the original 1.9 update? I got one star, but I'm stuck on that, so I'm wondering if update 1.9.1.2 broke it

Hi mate, no because with 1.9 I played few hours with ratings off to stay safe because of the random bugs .
With 1.9.1.2 I set ratings on again and with the first nice race at Valencia I got the 3 stars

Maybe the problem really is my awful driving then

Maybe not man, I’m a really really average, I did a “quiet” race with 25 cars, all kind, mixed, set myself in 20th and followed the last gt3 of the pack with few overtakes from midrace on but sticking on on e at to increase SA. But yes my driving was clean clean.
You surely drove better than me 😉

I’m only missing the 3 stars at COTA… once done I guess I’ll never drive again on that track! 😂
