#Random GTFO crashes after BIOS update

I updated my BIOS to a newer version and GTFO now keeps crashing randomly after 2-15minutes into a level
It does not crash in the main menu tho.
It sometimes also results in a BSOD
Before the BIOS update it ran normally and never crashed before 200h+ of gametime
-> I cant revert the BIOS update it wont allow it
While playing GPU and CPU are only about 40% usage yet it wont reach the set FPS cap of 165(vsync is disabled) and sits around 70FPS

I already tried :
Check integrity of System Files
Check integrity of Game Files
Updating all drivers
RAM Test -> fine
Deleting GTFO cache (AppData\LocalLow\10 Chambers collective)
Reinstalling GTFO
Resetting the PC

Can someone please help me

@drowsy patrol Can you try and find a scout in a random level?

#

And after you crash, send me the logs again
Thx

#

If you have R2E1 go in there

#

It should crash as soon as you get in
If not it's going to be even more interesting

@scenic smelt The logs say the scout screams are somehow causing a crash
Any idea why?

The crash was always in R7A1 and R7D1 R7D1 being the level im currently at and R7A1 i used to test if it would crash

#

and it would also crash when doing nothing just standing afk in a mission

PROBABLY, BIOS resetted XMP or PBO settings and the system isn't handling either/or very well. Your monitor is 144hz 4k but to be honest I REALLY doubt your 2080 super can run 4k 60 stable UNLESS you crank details down by a lot. Honestly 70 fps for 4k and your gpu is 100% within the norm. I think I remember people going below 60 4k on a 3090 in R7D1.

Keep in mind that while the game is old, is very badly optimized and sometimes lags performance down for no reason. However, none of that has to do with your game crashing.

I have a special monitor it has 2 modes 4k 165Hz for quality and full HD 330Hz for gaming i qctually wanted to upgrade my pc but RAM prices are rediculous rn

The weirdest thing is every other game i tried so far works perfectly fine even games that are known for high hardware demands such as monster hunter wilds so i think it must have something to do with GTFO and some kind of incompatability with the new BIOS version or its settings i tried activating/deactivating XMP both doesnt work sadly

I solved it limiting boosting and giving a -15 offset, curve optimiser.
