@near marlin what are the playfab ports again?
You'll need to check if you opened the ports for playfab services to work, but I don't remember which ones are those
how do i open it?
nevermind, my router wont let me
but if ur intereset here the other log from the hour ago
i dont think playfab needs ports, most important is to let steam network, easiest done with upnp enabled
i've done it changing it in my router settings
still doesnt worked
i even tried turning off ipv6 on my wifi card
how do i check it?
wifi card properties advanced, ipv4, addresses
few have had surprise address from old dormitory or previous isp saved, gtfo no worky
also if upnp, reboot router and then restart steam completely
launch gtfo, might work.. i can help test if u need
no vc required (cant, kids going to bed soon)
dang, i was about to ask if u can show me step by step on my stream it because i kinda dont know english very well because as u caan see i am polish.
but thanks
i will try
this?
looks good
i will launch 34873 gtfo and share code to you
can you join games?
or is problem just hosting games?
oh damn i see
no internet.. sec
this the problem that it wont get me to even lobby and it just says "connection failed"
or something its called
like i dont have wifi turned on
and you are not using vpn or cloudflare dash or any other "dns vpn" ?
14:39:34.711 - Waiting for network.. DONE!
14:39:34.714 - PlayFabManager.OnSteamInitialized
14:39:35.172 - [163 - GetAuthSessionTicketResponse] - 4 -- k_EResultOK
14:39:56.427 - Something went wrong with your PlayFab API call. :(
14:39:56.428 - Here's some debug information:
14:39:56.428 - Error: ConnectFailure (Connection timed out)
ok, can you plug your phone with usb, turn normal wifi off, in phone, activate "usb tethering" under connections -> hotspot ... (or, phone wifi hotspot)
can you try change wifi dns to 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1
i tried changing the ip assignment to 8.8.8.8 and alternative 8.8.4.4 dns and from the first attempt to 1.1.1.1 and alternative 1.0.0.1 dns
if your isp is redirecting playfab calls to some "local mirror" and that is not working
i tried
is the wifi 4g hotspot?
5g
what does it mean?
it might be isp is doing nat to zte and zte is doing nat to you
can you set zte router as bridge instead of routed?
(normally i wouldnt advise this)
being bridge, your computer would talk directly to isp, request ip, get one, one layer of nat goes away
i will try
also, windows-key "allow an app through windows firewall" -> make sure steam and gtfo are allowed private + public
mine works well, i have 3x gtfo " 😄 "
i did checked firewall beacause i was thinking that it might be the problem, but it wasnt, becasue it was set to public and private aas well as steam was.
gtfo does say "steam is online woop woop" but then your computer wants to talk to playfab and that times out, so seems steam is working
try disconnect zte wifi and plug your phone with usb or wifi hotspot directly
if it works with phone tether, then problem might be in zte, does it have any content filtering stuff active?
it can be the problem
some routers block some websites, "content not allowed"
because as i was reading, my model of my router had this thingy ipv6 auto and i can't change it
and i heard that ipv6 has problem with gtfo
and with google or cloudflare dns .8 or .1 you shouldnt resolve to aaaa ipv6 when gtfo asks
it has never been ipv6 problem
try phone tether next, problem has to be either isp or zte
no, gtfo calls home to microsoft playfab that gtfo uses for player profile, cosmetics, rundown completion progress etc
sadly when playfab is down, noone launches gtfo, everyone get the same screen you get
i remember ~5 outages, one of them was hours of down
oh, when doing phone tether, make sure phone wifi is off " 😄 "
(so it doesnt tether zte network to your computer)
i have a zte 4g router at the cabin and it works quite well for netflix etc
there has also been a few cases where playfab is contacted but playfab says "nope, you dont exist" .. and that has required help from 10c .. but in this case, connection timed out means you're not getting that far
(free weekend players that uninstalled game, then 2 years later purchased game and installed)
when it works, it looks like this ```19:32:14.381 - SNET is Online, Woop!
19:32:14.382 - Waiting for network.. DONE!
19:32:14.387 - PlayFabManager.OnSteamInitialized
19:32:14.745 - [163 - GetAuthSessionTicketResponse] - 5 -- k_EResultOK
19:32:15.742 - PlayFabManager.OnLoginSuccess. NewlyCreated: False
19:32:15.745 - PlayFabManager.RefreshGlobalTitleData
19:32:16.055 - <color=purple>PlayFab.OnGetCurrentTime Wednesday, 10 December 2025</color>
19:32:16.132 - UpdateLocalPlayerData Done, result: 2 OnSuccess: System.Action
19:32:16.506 - TODO : Skipping icon generation for the hacking tool. It crashes later while trying to construct the tool for rendering
19:32:16.545 - RundownManager: Requesting rundown progression from drop server for rundown key 'Local_35'...
19:32:16.547 - PlayFabMatchMakingManager: Requesting list of QoS servers...
(TODO hacking tool message is un-modded vanilla game, "lulz" 😄 )
I will try tomorrow
This
If your available for tomorrow u can help me on vc
If u don't mind
Like at 8 pm
So what do you say? @near marlin
no promises about voice but text help yes
Okay
@near marlin
u were right
it was double mat
nat*
i tried the therbjdfkjlb usb thingy in the hotspot on ym phone
how do i fix this thingy on my rounter?
on the zte
@neat slate sorry, family stuff.. okay..
if u can set it to bridged mode instead of routing mode
that's okay
so that your pc asks for and gets the ip instead of the router
== one nat gone
downside: if your isp only gives x ips, if u have 9 clients behind zte, only x work
if u can wire an ethernet from zte to pc, u could try have ethernet bridged and wifi routed == pc gets isp ip, wifi clients get zte nat stuff
i have model MC888D router of the ZTE
i dont think i can
ig my internet producent blocks it
that's the problem
1 x WAN/LAN-portti, 1 x LAN-portti ja 1 x puhelinportti
== u could wire up 2 lan ethernets
your isp could have options for your data package btw, cutting out the extra nat layer
most consumer 4g/5g is just "web and netflix works" .. and they do even if there's 7 layers of nat
if possible, i would recommend cable modem / fttc dsl / fiber, u could even use the zte router with it (it is not bad at all)
mine is a 1000/1000 fiber with an old google nest router-ap + extra nest-ap (big house), my house gets max 5 ip addresses but i only need 1
never had issues with gtfo+network, upnp rocks baby
i setup 3 ethernet switches around the house to get as many devices off wifi as i can, especially iptv stuff
