Game crashing on startup!

Hello! So just like in the title, my friend's game has been crashing on startup for all of today and we haven't been able to find a fix for it. He is playing on a Lenovo Ideapad, vantage is disabled and drivers are up to date. Between last week when we last played and this week, the only change was a Helldivers update from what we can tell but he hasn't been able to get the game to run. Can we get some advice and help :3
