@stiff mulch Which one is RAM?
memory
16GB of RAM and its using every single byte...was GTFO always this demanding??
yes, fluctuates a bit depending on [the complex resource set loaded for] the level. and if you’re playing modded all custom assets are stored in memory even if they are not used
your pc specs are on the low end, but i can play just about any level on my 1050ti laptop with 30-60 fps
for reference
-# and not that i normally play gtfo on my laptop, ftr
do you mean the drop sequence/loading screen? if so, that is normal
Mine are on the low end? Damn...
That explains a lot.
just looked at your second images
hard drive would explain it a bit
also, with 8GB vram you should make sure the textures are on half or lower
Well, I managed to stabilize it, so I'm sorry for not updating the tags. I had to indeed put Textures to Half, plus minimal fog quality and removing motion blur.
its not really low end per se
my friend who i played through the entire game with had a ryzen 5 5500 and an rtx 2060
Doesn't fix the memory leak, but I can play the game now.
the "memory leak" would be explained by full vram
Even so...this computer is nearing its 10th birthday. I'm a bit concerned about buying parts to update it, but...
Maybe its time I save up for that instead of 3D models.
if can get by on 4gb vram…
amd gpu?
they handle out of vram stuff differently
less stuter, more just slow down
