system specs + can you be more specific?
ryzen 5 8645, 4050 and 16gb of ram. i had a little weaker pc before with just a bit better cpu and never had the problem @alpine knoll
4050 has 8gb vram
its just basicly normal playing and every few mins, my screen freezes for a sec and after that everything is fine again
no high temps, no max usage so idk
Is it random or every 5m(for example)
do you run anything in the background?
It simply sounds like some high cpu usage program in the background run periodically
Does it sound like this issue? #1286902569280737350 message
Ah yes, hardware issues bad beyond my comprehension
Good luck fixing it, genuinely
Those are always a pain
I had this exact issue before with similar specs. It was a background OS process that kept CPU spiking every ~10 minutes and affected not just GTFO. I would suggest using task manager or equivalent to see if it’s that
pretty random
i thought its the cpu too but the usage never goes over 70 to 80%. sometimes i turn on info where i see temps, usage and fps
no i have no microstutters. its like having 0 fps for a second, and then its comepletely fine. i have almost no laggs in general
i only have it in gtfo but i will take a look over my backgroung programs when i have the nerves for it ^^
I has a similar problem it was my fps I had it to unlimited and it was trying to hard try limiting your fps
Recently I have huge issue in GTFO with steam overlay, so it may seem random but you might try right click GTFO on your Steam library > properties > disable Steam Overlay
Might allso be game opamizers thear know to make some games run bad
It could also be like how my gaming laptop is
It dies every few hours or so for a couple of seconds
going down to 0 fps
And just bugging out in generla
I just chalk it up to the damn thing dying
could be smth else
my pet peeve, i had this problem with farcry3 and ogr5. random freezes in an otherwise well running game. installed motherboard chipset drivers. problem gone. worth a check.
