pc specs?
Processor 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-13700F 2.10 GHz
Installed RAM 32.0 GB (31.8 GB usable)
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
uhhhh maybe someone who is good with logs can check them if you have them for the times when the game crashed
because it would say something in it
i can maybe take a look
i checked from time to time when crash, errorlogs say something about steam api and nothing else. and logoutputs are something with replayrecorder mod
can i dm you?
sure
Hi, we'll need like
Both your player.log and cilent/master log to see what's going on
Do post them here, the details on where to find them in #bug-reporting
im not sure which the client/master log but i will post my player.log here
They should be where the player.log is
during this run, ive crashed once, but it only shows the client log and NICKNAME_NETSTATUS log.
if this log generates per run (application open) there should be two but i only found one
yes w mods
send your modlist
its most likely not mods
sifting thru playerlog, can u send bepinex logoutput and errorlog from a crashed session?
i currently dont have an exact crashed session but i can show something similar
ummmmmmm
On despawn! PlayerSynced(Clone)_32768 : 11/10 would cook spider a
11/10 would cook spider a
what?
this definitely looks like some sorta corruption in your HDD/SSD
nah, sorry, Removed 11/10 would cook spider a from PlayersInGame</color>
it's a name π
There's broken cell alerts everywhere i don't get it
I guess this isn't what i'm used to?
yeah those are a common ignorable error
logoutput is so much more readable ahhh
thisβs most gtfo thing ever said lol
after reinstalling, i played a modded rundown for some levels and it worked fine. Then i switched back to vanilla and crashed the first game i played

that's at least somehow burked
that player.log looks like a normal exit, ppl are afterlevel and send "ggs" messages in text chat
this isnt a crashed output i believe but the errorlog is always the steam ID
it overrides a new log everytime a game is opened right?
yes, if u can find a crashed log then that would help a lot
okay i will update here when i have a crash
do you suggest i play on vanilla w or w/o mods
for testing purposes
what i would like to see is some form of message about why it force closes, i had exactly this problem when my power supply was failing, PSU would stop giving enough voltage to GPU, GPU would shut down
windows would say something like direct3d dxgi device has gone away
vanilla
however u can make it crash without touching alt-f4
once u do crash, grab the playerlog and in here
okie i will update asap
- i will get playerlog, errorlog, and logoutput right?
and i assume no other games on your pc crash but vanilla gtfo
that's ALWAYS the case π π
ye only gtfo crashes
no need for bepinex errorlog, it's usually useless
okie
sometimes when a mod malfunctions and crashes game, u get something in there but mostly not
yeh np, its aggravating when a game does that, we guna sort it out
invest 30-90 minutes in a level with 3 friends and kapowwww desktop .. <first thru monitor>
are you running your game on an external drive/non c: drive?
Try windows event viewer, maybe there's something there.
no its on C drive
not sure
just curious, is it during gameplay or on startup/loading
have yet to get a crash in vanilla tho, but samd has crashed twice alr
during gameplay
only during gameplay and game-ending (like the moment i extract and game ends, entire application crashes)
i remember someone having this.... fixendscreen in profile? not needed anymore
the fix is a part of mtfo nao
do i need to fix something?
if u have fixendscreen, remove
thatβs very unlikely to have been the cause
to be fair it's a crashing issue
...There's like a million things that could've caused it
Or at least, it seems like that to me
I usually am the most useless with them
crashes from project eternal rundown
just can't put my finger on it but i distinctively remember us having CTD on expeditionfail / missionsuccess some year or 2 years back
just damnit can't remember what was the cause
is there anything at all in error log besides the breakpad minidump thing
...... video codecs maybe
the expeditionfail thing plays a video thing and if the codec is borked, CTD while trying
someone had a problem where they installed some north korean codec pack to get some exotic video extension working, managed to destroy something standard from windows == gtfo crashes
what
in what world would you do that lmao
power of the internet baby π anything that can happen, will happen to and by someone π
CCCP which is an old "community codec" for example
What the fuck
all just guesswork but worth a shot, ctrl-f codec
nothing new in err log unfortunately
but good news is i never had a crash in vanilla after reinstall
