#bug-reporting
Need logs
i dont know how to do it and what should i do
Yes?
i located the file which ended with client x
Yes that's the one
We also need the one call Player.log
ok what should i do next ??
Just get it over here and I'll see what's going on
If it's the game that's having the problem then the logs will show it
@runic lotus To fix playfab errors you check if the ip addresses towards playfab are open and whether or not the router is allowing connections to playfab right
Yeah it comes back don't worry
When you boot up the game
how can i check this bro so sorry for my poor knowledge
i dont have playfab program
I don't know
That's why I'm asking
Just wait for a little
usually if game starts and goes into rundown selection, playfab is fine. its aservice that handles players stats and vanities and saves their cleared levels etc
There's a lot of playfab errors in the logs I think?
I don't know
Might just be me being an idiot again
no, me
im still here
network issue anyway. lobbies, missin equip black names cant drop etc... == packets not moving
check if your router has upnp on, reboot it just in case..
if your internet has a modem that does network address translation (nat) ... make sure u dont have a router that also does nat. double nat poison for udp
so if modem is 192.168.0.1 and router is internet 192.168.0.2 and lan 10.0.0.1 == screwed
u can try a direct mobile phone 4g or 5g wifi hotspot or usb tether and disconnect normal internet.. if it works then, your router is sus
if it doesnt, i would do the steam fix thing from the cant connect thread
ok iwill try and i will tell u after im finished
it worked so well like there is no problems when i opened mobile data
so tell me what i should do with my router
okay, first of all see if upnp is enabled, if not, enable it
with upnp, your windows can request the router to forward certain tcp and udp ports "on demand" so u don't have to manually do nat rules
second: check if your router has a real internet ip address on WAN side
if it doesn't, you're doing double-nat
meaning: something has wan internet and lan private network -> router wan and another private network
then upnp fails cos only the router does the forwards but the first "router" knows nothing about it
upnp is safe as long as u know what you're running on computer
ok its just gtfo
steam actually
steam needs the set of udp ports to flow in
gtfo rides them thru steam ye
u can set your internet network card or wifi adapter to "public network", that closes a lot of ports in windows
still lets steam upnp work fine
network and internet settings, look up middle
ok iwill work on it and i will tell u if i noticed something wrong
ty for helping me sir really appreciate that
u bet, thanks also to goldenshoot, he the primus motor in these tech support cases
always looking out for ppl, good job dude
ok he is really legendary thanks to him
u can btw do cmd -> tracert 1.1.1.1 and see if u really have double nat going, on mine i don't, my router is directly internet
if hop 1 was 10.0.0.254 and hop 2 was 192.168.0.1 or something, i would be in trouble
i enter my router throw 192.168.l.l by the way
cool, if u can check the wan side, what ip does it have on wan
problems: 10.x, 192.168.x, 172.x .. anything else: saul goodman
then look at upnp, enable it if disabled, then restart steam to have it register
1 1 ms 1 ms 1 ms 192.168.1.1
2 8 ms 9 ms 79 ms 10.45.18.141
3 8 ms 7 ms 7 ms 10.35.33.209
4 7 ms 7 ms 7 ms 10.35.33.210
this is what showed me on cmd
ok there can be a problem
u can yes, won't hurt
it might be your isp does the 10.x networks but it still works fine, no way to know without trying
but upnp off, the only alternative is to manually open firewalls and redirect these to your computer:
having upnp on, your steam pings your router "yo, can plz has tcp 27015-27030,27036-27037 and udp 4380, 27000-27031, 27036 redirected right here thanks"
I have the same problem as the thread author here, but UPnP is on and there is no double NAT failure(probably). What other problems do I have and how can I solve them?
I don't understand English, so I rely on Google translation.
I fixed it by reassigning the IP address. Sorry to disturb you.
i have this exact issue but i need simple instructions on how to fix this lol
Reset your router and see if it helps first
i have many times but the problem is still there
Need logs
You can find them in #bug-reporting
do i have to be in a lobby with friendsfor those logs? if so i cant right now
Just find them, they're in your folders on your computer
They all have timestamps, just pull one of the ones that match your old runs when you tried to join someone
yeah got em
Are you using vpn?
