#r8c1 bug?

i was doing r8c1 with a friend. we attempted the terminal uplinks, two of those "grabby" monsters came out, one per uplink which we survived and then we died later when trying to reach the extraction zone.

on the second attempt after respawning at checkpoint, we did the first terminal really quickly. maybe too quickly? we finished it before the grabby monster spawned, but unlike the first time where we got a break inbetween terminal uplinks, there was a never ending series of monster spawns coming with huge waves of giants (and the grabby guy as well). i definitely checked that we had in fact completed the first terminal.

is this a bug? how to mitigate this? maybe i should do the terminals slower?

Probably a Checkpoint Bug. Restarting from Checkpoint offen Breaks the Game in many ways

That and the giants don't actually stop when you do main only I think

I remember eva telling me that main giant wave never actually stops

Yeah the Game probably Stores the value of the ammount of completed uplinks, and after restarting it did Not reset to 0

So it thinks that you did 2 uplinks and Starts the scripted Error alarm

Same Happens in R7C2 where If you Plug in 5 cells and wipe, the 5th cell will lower the fog even though you are Missing one cell

r8c1 just behaves weird- and i think it's cuz it queues spawns, but if u do the terminals too fast, it continues to spawn them as the queue doesn't go fast enough for it to clear

i did it with bots, and i did have breaks inbetween
