Freezes/Game not responding

Hi all, been having an issue where the game doesnt outright crash, but quiet frequently Ill get 'micro freezes', the cursor gets the little spinning wheel as if the game isnt responding, and these freezes last between 2-5 seconds. Verify, reinstalling hasnt changed anything. Any suggestions? Cheers
