this has happened twice, 2 separate game loads. we also tried having user leave game and come back but re-spawns in same spot. This is right next to a staircase in R1C1. No, game kinda records the position and will readd the player to the same spot. There's some spots where you can get stuck permanently, another culprit is R5A2 cargo zone, the most notorious being R5D2's catwalk bridge. Try not to get into those spots.

No idea if you can lock the slot, let the user rejoin in another slot, then readd the bot, could be worth a try next time.

Alternatively there's a mod you can install to unstuck yourself
