nah on second watch you just didn't full charge
Full charge next time to headshot the scout

You needed a full white circle,
Look back at the clip, you only charged till around 80%
You can ask in gtfo chat when the spreadsheet guys are online for the deets
Also the spear does 78.75 dmg at full charge from the front to the head (for scout), wouldnt that mean even if its slightly below full charge it would still do enough dmg?
Slightly probably, ask the people who know the game inside out for the deets
But you want to aim for full charges always

Charged damage is around 17.5, x3 for scouts would be around 51
precision multiplier applies as long as you hit the head no?
i know it doesnt count for back hits but afaik it should count for hitting head or tumors on enemies

It takes around 80 percent charge to oneshot headshot a scout for a spear, according to the wiki's equation
If you didn't panick and held it just a little more you would've gotten it

well it is what it is, i was omega confused at the time cause i thought i fully charged my hit
one frame before u let go of left click. Just not charged. After u let go the circle did go to full white, but the weapon wasn't charged
Being generous it looks like you could be around 70% charged, in which you only deal around 30 damage
Minimum charge for Spear killing to front of head is 80.1%
You're a smidge below this, you just don't deal enough damage

This is what I go off of.
also remember you got a second ish after the feelers turn red till scream. so plenty of time to pick the right timing and not rush.
Not all types of scouts follow that behavior, so be careful
