#Controller settings don't work anymore

Try using steam input manager, it should be a little better
I’ll give it a shot, but I’m pretty sure it will conflict with the in-game controller inputs. At least, that’s what happened when Squad tried to add some controller compatibility
Nah, the steam input is pretty much the way you remap the controller now
You can probably disable steam input for the in-game support for a controller to work, but I don't know.
I've used the steam inputs for my controller a lot and it seemed to work just fine. Do troubleshot if you have anything breaking and I'll see if I can help you out.
Alright, thanks dude
(Side note, there are pre-made templates for controllers in the community-template page. Some of them are nice, but I recommend remapping things to suit your own hands.)
Yeah I had a setup I liked in the in-game settings, idk when it broke tho cause I haven’t played since before rundown 8
So it’s mostly just annoying I’ll have to make another
You can still use it I think if you go into the game settings on steam (The cog icon on the page where gtfo is) and disable steam input. It should let you use the controller the way you use it in game.
No cause the remapping menu in game is broken
The controller one specifically, the MnK one works fine
You can see in the image, clicking on a remap button just highlights it and does nothing
Huh I never knew that
You could always try deleting or renaming the settings file in local low app data and see if it lets you change options again. Weird it doesn't accept changes as we haven't changed that in a long time
I mean to be fair everyone migrated to using steam controller remapping these days, and since steam has changed a lot in regards to the controller input methods the past years it's not so surprising that the in-game binding system broke.
