#LAG HELP
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
it could be steam maintenance day or the host and u having very bad desync
it doesnt really look like lag, more desync
which can cause enemies being weird as they move, not being able to interact with objects
recieving dmg out of nowhere
yeah that sounds exactly like it
is there a potential fix to this?
cus as im typign this all 3 my teamates just walked through a closed door
uhh u could change hosts and just in case restart gtfo
it is not steam tho i just checked that finished a while ago
not really that i know of, desync usually means the host and u are from way different zones of the world and the informations gettin lost or takin too much time to get there, or the host just havin packet loss or any other internet issues
dang. were only 2 hours drive apart
problem is games peer to peer to just reallly depends on the connection of host and client
u could get a third person to host if it doesnt work but other than that im not sure
weird. never had this issue before 2. we have had 3 people host so far. guess its just doomed
You can try the old methods of restarting a router to hopefully fix it, but I doubt it would help.
sadly i am in dorms at college and cant do that
...Actually, what level are you on just curious
maybs its just a today issue of one of the internet providers or some other thing being funny with packet loss
god i hope
I mean, if it was a map or game issue it would've happened on the more taxxing maps a while ago
Looks like a problem with the type "NAT" and port forwarding.
i have no idea what this means but wish to learn the forbidden knowledge
maybe something changed in your network, upnp turned off or someone configured an ungodly port range of udp to his computer for him to play something else.. running any vpn btw? ... i would first check upnp, if u have access to your router..
Sadly I do not. And technically the campus already uses a VPN for everyone here. Unless I need 2
