As title states:

Ran bench/ stress test
Everything checks out. It's solely isolated to this specific level and game.

As soon as you finish engaging the "initiate bar" - at the end of the "load" the computer violently shuts off.
any thoughts?

Has this happened on any other levels, or is this just a one level issue?

No, this is just happening on R4C3.
He Reinstalled the game and now we just made it into the drop animation. Still shutting down his computer violently.
I personally have never ever, heard a game be able to shut your system down like this.

I thought it had something to do with his Gfx or PSU. It all checks out.

Can you tell him to go and follow the steps in #bug-reporting for the log report for the game?

Ok that should be all that you can do for the moment, for now maybe try some of the other posts' suggestions and optimize the game #guides-and-reviews message

Unfortunately I am not qualified enough to look into most of the problems that arises when it comes to crashes, especially as severe as total shutdown, so I can only suggests you this for now. Hope that the information you gave will be enough for someone to come along and help you with your issue. Sorry. If I find something that might help you I'll post something again.

This sounds like an extremely intruiging case. Usually the system shutdowns is most likely some hardware issue especially PSU or short circuit in CPU/GPU. But if this is the case you can't pass stress test.

how would the system run cyberpunk at 4k then have trouble pulling for GTFO at 4k? the CPU and GPU loads would have indicated a problem during Cyberpunk and replicated the same behaviors.. I mean the amount of shutdowns right now are borderline abusive lol.. I wouldn't be surprised it's starting to damage the hardware.
