#Bots clip through doors while they close and get stuck on the other side

First time?
Ancient issue since bots first became a thing. Unlikely to get sorted. Your best bet is to hug the doors button, that usually prompts bots to stick to your side.
usually its
- get first to the door and run back
- just run away really far and let the bot go through walls back to u
- approach the door slowly, if u see a bot cross it go back again to make it go back and then close the door
- approach the door close it and then immediately start walkin back
For me it worked with the "on me" command
that command just makes a bot follow a player, and by default 3 bots will always follow u cause there no one else so
mightve been them goin through the wall while u did that so timing
Unfortunately not necessirily a bug, just a quirk of bot behavior. For some reasons when you're near a door - they get it in their head to get inside ahead of you, and phase through the door to do it.
This is unlikely to be fixed or changed (unless we pray really hard).
Until then:
-
Its not necesserily a bad thing, since bots have a feature to phase through doors and walls to get back to the player.
Unfortunately the feature is not reliable and kicks in randomly.
Its only bad if you're running from a horde. -
Solution 1: run away from the door to cause them to rapidly move away from it.
-
Solution 2: slowly approach the door button, stop, wait for bots to stop moving as well, confirm that neither of them are moving and are on your side, then close the door without taking a single step until the door is closed.
I think there should just be a invisible wall when you close the door and all bots are on your side of the door
yeh bots already break the law of physics if you get too far from them, that's not gonna make much difference
go inside room, turn left, take 5 steps, then approach the door control panel from a 45d angle about 1 meter away from it. bots should get in and stay in. not always doable if panel is right next to wall, but when applicable, works fine.
to my amazement they can run to a giant or a scout or a group of 5 sleepers and just melee them to death without any detection. detection. unless they shoot which really pissed me off.
What?... Bots don't stealth. They will only jump any enemy that is awake and not react to anything that is sleeping - wandering scouts including.
Also they 100% silent and can't wake up anything if they tried.
then it must been me to trigger the 5 sleepers but to be honest I'm quite shocked by them. Giants yes I have to trigger the full charge of melee, then they''ll just melee it to death even though the there's another giant next to it.(I made sure i did not angro that giant tbh) .Scouts they can walk and the touch it no aggro.
