#Game crashes PC upon cage drop
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Game just updated so if you're playing modded that might be the issue
I'm not
delete %appdata% 10chambers gtfo generatedicons -folder and retry
(new rundown, new weapons, new icons to generate, old ones to yeet, some have had trouble doing that leading to game crashes etc)
No change, it crashed again
I've already stress tested my pc components and see no issues there. This is so weird
i'm guessing they modified shaders and your gpu driver has cached some old ones, crashes game
full reinstall of game, including deletion of the entire 10 chambers folder, then install again.. on first launch, have it do the "compiling shaders.." bit and hopefully its okay after
I was able to actually load a level this time
wtf thanks
I'll just test a few levels to see if its actually fixed
Sometimes I'm able to get in a level solo other times it'll just crash when I'm dropping. Super inconsistent
i would do full reinstall if not yet.
I already did
damn, then maybe a gpu driver clean reinstall, maybe delete windows temp.. dunno
I suspect it might be ram related issue because sometimes my usage gets really high really fast and then it'll eventually crash
thing is it never crashed like this before
As someone with an extremely shit PC, this happens to me as well, even before this update, just, at certain demanding rundowns like 6 or 7 and yes, I've come to the same conclusion, it might be a RAM issue
Sometimes I load in fine, some other times it just decides not to
Did the 3d standard test using OCCT and it crashes almost as soon as I begin the test
at this point I can only assume some kind of gpu issue
but this is the only game I have with these issues
yep, no matter what I do it crashes. either in the cage drop immediately or less than 10 minutes after starting which is rare.
try lower gfx (if possible), maybe the video ram requirement makes it snap
didn't make any difference
I think I'll just wait it out for now, I don't have the energy to keep troubleshooting this
CPU?
I'm having the same problem all of a sudden
switched out my 3080 for my old 1080ti and it stopped doing it
Could be your PSU? 3080's are kind of power hungry
