Upon trying to login and join a friends game, I keep getting stuck on the game say it is "Waiting for Master" when trying to join their lobby. The same becomes true when i am hosting and trying to get the same friend to join my lobby. Both of us have played the game for the past few days with no issue and this happened randomly after trying to rejoin a game after we split for a few hours. I was hoping to see if any has seen this and a possible fix? Thank you in advance!

Game is installed on M.2 SSD
I7 8700k CPU
Zotac 3080
64 GBS RAM
2TB Samsung 980 Pro M.2

I thought the same when going through research but this was happening over the past weekend all the way through today. The issue start happening last Friday and has unfortunately remained consistent since.

Or is he running modded by chance?

No VPN or mods, but i think there might some weird peer to peer blocking on my network due to not being able to matchmake in Remenant 2 as well with the same error. I'll update the post when I have identified the issue.

One friend of mine has similar problem. His connection was cut when we were doing R2C1 and upon reconnecting he became invisible for us for the rest of the mission. Since then we are unable to host any game with him - either he's unable to connect to our lobby or someone else is unable to connect to his.

# brisk rivet Any solutions

I have not found a resolve yet but I'm gonna deep dive my entire network setup this week and will report back if I can solve it 😁

We found that him hosting & me hosting both don't work but it can work if we find someone else to host, so we can both connect but maybe we both can't host

#

Matchmaking at the same time works but doesn't let you equip bots

Game log I found thru ProcMon, seems very relevant.

Hi! Can you explain what exactly works? Did you fix the problem? How did you fix it? Please help 😢

#

Yeah I just port forwarded those ports on windows firewall

#

and on the router

#

For Windows firewall, go to the windows firewall, go to Outbound rules, create a new Outbound rule, select type Port, select protocol UDP, and do "4379-4380" for the ports, then do allow connection, all domains, name it something, and save it. Repeat that for port 3478.
For router, use ipconfig in command prompt to find your "default gateway", type that IP into your browser for your router login page, log into the router using the details on the sticker, go to port forwarding. Now it's different for every router, but the general input is gonna be, any name, IPv4 (found in ipconfig), port 3478 internal, port 3478 external, UDP protocol. Repeat that for port 4379 and port 4380.

I'll look into that though, tell me if you still have this other problem after fixing the ports

# hoary tartan okay thank you so much!

Yeah that problem looks crazy, I just checked it out. Next time it happens, the host should open this log file and send it in that bug report channel C:\Users\(user)\AppData\LocalLow\10 Chambers Collective\GTFO\Player.log
