Me and some friends are trying to play in the same lobby but whever they join I cannot see her in the lobby but she is able to join. Whenever she switches to data the problem disappears and she can join the lobby normally.

Could be an issue with NAT or some other router configuration. Could also be multiple network connections being active on her PC

Does she have a VPN?

She does not have a VPN. Unfortunately we can't access the router as it's controlled by the college.

NAT types in college are usually set to strict, but even then usually it's not an issue with GTFO. I've seen a strict NAT type have issues with something like Bean Battles
