has anyone else experienced the bug or glitch where whatever you're holding it will just switch to the next slot, even though you didn't touch the mouse wheel whatsoever? Usually happens with the melee to the main weapon, and it's really bad when you're trying to stealth kill a giant and suddenly start shooting him with an SMG. Also mostly notice it switches from my tool to a pack or my pack I'm trying to use to my melee or consumable slot. It happened to some friends of mine a few times but it's happened way more than it ever used to as of recent and I'm curious to see if anyone else knows or maybe knows how to fix it, or if there's a way to turn off changing weapons with the mouse wheel.

well i doubt this is the case but, be sure ur not pressin the T or the C, ones a button that toggles through your gear the other just switches to the melee weapon directly
by how u describe it, it sounds like its going in order, from melee to main weapon to special weapon to tool to a resource pack to a consumable to the melee again, so be sure to rebind the key or check it in case its that

yeah, it goes in order- I didn't know about the t button being a toggle, so I will certainly test and see if maybe that's the issue and update you. thank you :)

I don't believe that that's the case based off where the buttons are, my hands never really go near T because I even rebound my reload (weird, I know, but it works for me) so I don't think it's me hitting any buttons

maybe? but it's happened to more people than just me is what's weird about that theory

plus my mouse isn't even a year old, and it's a p nice mouse

Well mouse wheels can get fucked up a bit easily, maybe some dust or whatever is in it

#

But I think there's no way of deactivating the scroll for change weapons in GTFO without mods

unfortunately, I'll look into that as well, ty

Just unplug mouse and see if it happens.

it doesn't really happen consistently enough for that, like yesterday it didn't happen at all but the night before it happened around probably 7 or 8 times

T is defaulted to separate "use on ally" keybind. It shouldn't do anything unless you have the "separate use keybind" enabled
