friends e key doesnt work ingame anymore

he cant place down turret/ cant interact with anything ingame, he rebound it to another button and it didnt work either

Did you use a checkpoint? Is your friend looks like holding a heavy object like cell/fog turbine? Can he interact with those thing that don't need to "hold" interact key but tap it (like climb ladder/open a door, etc)
