Just started R5B1, only 2 bulkhead keys spawned in
a2 was intended
and probs b1 too
a2 overload unlocks when u grab the cargo
the a3 seems to b bugged tho

bruh....if you don't know how bulkhead keys work....then you can't just assume it's right.
you need bulkhead keys to put into bulkhead dc to choose which objectives to do

@mystic pawn r5b1 bulk opens overload, then a new zone opens after overload is completed that provides another key for secondary.
You can complete main before doing overload. No bulkhead key.
Then you simply extract.
The A3 is definitely a bug that sometimes occurs based on multiple accounts. Thankfully avoided it in my run.
And yes, a2 is intended as the overload automatically unlocks once the cargo has been picked up. Main can be completed prior to entering secondary.
Okay, I think I need to explain further. The keys did not spawn in the level

So there was a second key that didn't generate for you then in order to enter main.
There is not a third one though.
malpheus the reason why we know there are more than 1 bulkhead key is because the objective told us to find a bulkhead key, so we used a terminal and it was not on the map

You did not say you couldn't get into secondary at all.

u drop in, u choose secondary, u go into it, do the objective and a door open where u pick the next bulkhead key

I'm not interested in continue to argue with someone who wants to be right about the specifics of my post. What I am interested in reporting the issue to the mods/developers because this is gtfo technical support.
Either way, if you want the information to be useful you should probably update it to say A2 secondary didn't generate the key for main.

a2 definitely is bugged, since the objective is asking you for a bulkhead key that didn't spawn.

Seen it happen on modded maps before, usually because they didnt have a container to spawn in
interesting, I wonder if that's what happened with us, only the keys just didn't spawn in. I assumed it would be same bug that happens in R4C3. The cell glitch where only 4 cells spawn in instead of 5. However, bulkhead keys require a container.
Yeah if you want to check if something like that is broken you can just turn around when you drop in and see if there is a key there
That's really helpful, I also recommend listing bulkhead keys at the first discovered terminal moving forward to ensure enough are spawned in.
I'm also curious, were you guys able to reach the floating keys to collect them?
nope invisible walls wont let you reach it
Seems like restarting the game can get the bulkheads to spawn in the proper place, no bulkhead in the elevators, but still the right amount in the terminals
There's apparently a new glitch were a bulkhead key spawns out of the map/out of reach/despawns
I've seen this reported only in R5A3-R5B1 but I wouldn't be surprised if it had a chance to happen in more maps than that

This is just a safety measure when items don’t have places to spawn puts them at the origin point of the map. Can happen on any map but normally needs a reason

I know it was super inconvenient, but I love the desk slam when you see the ping activate mid-air when you get back to spawn

i retried R5A3, and when i spawned i checked behind me for a flying bulkhead key, i saw none, kept going with the mission and the bulkheadkey was reachable in 124
Had the same issue on R5A3
Found out 90 minutes into the run after doing the secondary and overload that it was floating above what was presumably a reference point at extraction

43 can't be accessed because it needs bulkhead key, can't get bulkhead key because they are both in rooms (we believe) are behind the doors locked requiring the 3 power cell generator
Can't get the cells in 235/233? (sec door far right) because the bulkhead requires power
the cell being used in 41 was the only other generator available, since we had a single one we used it
To extract the mission, we're brute forcing the last terminal with every 4 letter word until we give up now
532 words in, we got the computer, epic victory.....
Not sure what your issue was but you're supposed to go to Overload ASAP, get the cells from the zone that has both of them (behind an alarm, fog and some scouts), power up the gen cluster, get again in the fog because you unlock the sec door that has another cell (for extra res zone with disinf station) and the bulk key you need for either Extreme/Secondary or Main
I assume you used one of the cells for the res zone instead of powering up cluster gen?

We’re running into issues on R5B1 where we just don’t load in or get booted midway through

Yeah this what was blocked via the generator triad, on my run, neither the bulkhead key or cell spawned in any available rooms. It’s my fault for not notating the map with numbers in reference to my initial message
There was one in the bottom right of the map, however we searched through the entire map about 20, or 25 times before deciding to just try and brute force the terminal

Isn't it possible to softlock yourself in R5A3 by doing what they did? IIRC Overload has 1 cell in the bulk key zone and the other 3s out
There should be 3 in overload
So if you get one of the three and put them in main optional gen you get softlocked
