At the beginning of the mission, when I start the first group scan , bots don't come inside first scan until enemies wave is thickened a bit. This causes that the first scan in not performed immediately and you get infected and waste a lot of ammo. So it become very difficult to finish the entire scan sequence.

um there is a bug that normally doesnt allow bots to do scans but if they come in a lil bit late it might mean ur not goin fast enough
try puttin in the command and runnin to the center, ot worked the couple times i tried it cause bots right away step as they r close to u

yeah, just experienced the same thing
exhibit A, after a good 30sec
none of the bots in the scan
exhibit B, me still in the exact same spot a minute or two later dead on the floor with the scan at a whopping 3%
this was my third attempt - i restarted the game between all attempts

it's a random bug, just reset the lobby and try it gain with them and it should work
