Doing a level that wasn't completed before to get the event backpack skips normal drop, meaning only the event backpack would be received on completition of the level.

- this is not a universal issue
- OP is somehow mistaken

regarding number 2, I was playing with my gf and she had the exact same bug. So just to confirm, you received 2 items being 1 random item PLUS the event backpack in the same completition of a level you never did before?

This is a thing when the backend rewards you with a drop the client doesn't recognize, we are aware of it. So you are rewarded, and will see that cosmetic in the future.
