Cant initiate cage drop

we are both ready and initiate cage drop doesn't do anything
we tried restarting the lobby, restarting the game and verifying files but nothing seems to work.
we are kinda lost here.

same thing going on with me and my friends. But it only happens to one of my friend, but it works if that person leaves the lobby...

Pinging admins and mods can't really help much with that, we don't have any technical control over the game

I can play it my friend cant. there is some kinda network issue thats only exclusive to him among my friends

well i installed a vpn just now
and worked perfectly beacuse i connected to US and it worked with them ( my friends are from US ) im from EU and connected to US using a vpn

but of course this is not a fix obviously they have to fix this problem beacuse it never happen for me and never had a vpn until now just waiting for a patch i guess hope they read this

he somehow can individually play by himself but if he tries hosting a lobby with people from his own region it still fails

This is a weird one. We haven't touched the networking since the desync fix a couple of months ago.

yeah but the thing is, this problem started on the latest patch. We were playing without problem before that.

This may or may not help, but when the friend I cant play with joins, he sometimes takes up 2 slots in the lobby...

i have being digging more into the problem and its their problem about the game its actually networking problem

i just fixed by myself todays

@stone sleet @lime minnow @humble zephyr ok what i did and fixed for me was i went on Settings>time and languange then theres a option languange and region and changed my region to US beacuse im from EU and i changed to US then also added a US keyboard languange too and after that i did network reset on settings and booted up my pc and worked perfectly its not router problems like they said its a game problem like probably the game thinks " this guy is not from US dont connect him " its something about region location at least for me the game has a problem "probably" detecting ur region.

Interesting! As said. We use Steam services to connect players peer2peer, maybe something changed there. The ”network reset”, was that the Windows settings? And @lime minnow, have you tried this solution?

update on my side, my friend with the problem got his discord hacked. And he went for a better antivirus and deleted lots of files on his pc.
Now he can play with us without much problem, we dont know what fixed it in the end. Stuff I mentioned may be completely unrelated.
