Game crashing when i try to open the game | GTFO | Page 1

When i open the game and i see the warning message (like everyone else), it's not going any further. I try what some people were telling : uninstall the game -> press the Windows key + R -> type "%userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow" -> Delete the folder "10 Chambers Collective" -> reinstall the game. i tried and it was working....but once i close the game and try to reopen the game....nah....it doesn't work and it's crashing (and the folder "10 Chambers Collective" reappear). PLS HELP ME !

delete only generatedicons folder from there, see if it launches then

they know of the bug, their tech support gave this tip to somwonw

i have the "Bitdefender" anti-virus

but the "GeneratedIcons" folder only have images from the weapons in the game....so....yeah

Dunno, but whitelisting your steam folder is common practice because antivirus always breaks shit.

the whitelist thing doesn't work....when starting the game, i can only see the warning messages appearing and disappearin....and it's not going any further

youre like the 5th or 6th case ive seen with this problem.. 10cc support could maybe help find a perm fix, might wanna open a ticket

at this point we should ask everyone their specs and antivirus(s) are

see if there is a common thread

only thing I can think of is that something is interfering with the icon generation during generation

@celest knot if your willing to do a quick test, can you boot the game with any antiviruses off

generate said icons

and see if you can boot again without deleting the folder

have you guys been able to fix the problem? I downloaded the game yesterday and I have done a lot of stuff that people told me to do to fix it but nothing seems to be working for me
