My PC can hardly run many games, but I do what I can. One of which is setting most games to 720p. A true sin to some, but it works for me and I rather enjoy a game than graphics... even if the cost is beautiful pixels everywhere. My native resolution is 1920x1080, but that hardly gets me 60FPS when playing GTFO and when enemies start to spawn in, it can be a real inconvenience.
Onto the main point, I've tried to set the game to Exclusive FullScreen to no avail. It works-- as in, I set the setting - the whole screen flashes and does its thing. Boom, FullScreen, then if I click on other setting category, for example - the HUD settings, the screen will flicker and revert back to Maximized Window. I can tell because of the flickering and all the text is very fuzzy. (I am quite the experienced 720p gamer, indeed.)
I've tried setting a Steam launch option to force FullScreen, but then again-- when I click outside of a 720p area, the game reverts back to Maximized Window - and what I mean by that is, imagine a 1920x1080 screen. Alright, now, when I put the game into 720p the screen shrinks and fits itself all the way to the top-left border of the 1080p screen - all the other space is just empty and there, from the 720p screen, it stretches to fit the 1080p screen. That main top-left box still exists and is where I truly operate, but once I click outside of that main box, the game decides, "No." and thinks it's better to revert back to Maximized Window.
Any help would be appreciated. Love this game and it has been the probably most expensive game someone has gotten for me. (I insisted I pay half.)
