Hey all! Matchmaking has been officially added to the game, which allows for two ways of grouping up.

  1. After clicking the expedition name, choose "Matchmaking", set your settings, and start.
  2. By creating your own lobby and inviting people either via Steam friends list or Lobby ID. See below for those steps:

As a lobby host:

  1. Find the Expedition you want to play, create a lobby.
  2. Go to the top right of the screen, click the "Copy lobby ID to clipboard"
  3. Hop into one of our LFG channels here or send the ID to a friend.

As a user joining someone else's lobby:

  1. Copy the lobby ID. If the lobby code is invalid or not copied, the box in step 3 won't show.
  2. Open/Go to GTFO on the Rundown screen which lists all the Expeditions
  3. Click the "Join <persons name> from clipboard" from the left side.

You'll now be joined into their lobby! Good luck.

Common LFG terms
hostile LFXM - Stands for looking for X more players. For example - LF1M (Looking for 1 more).
hostile LFX - Same as above, looking for X more players. For example - LF3 (Looking for 3 players)
hostile PE - Stands for Prisoner Efficiency. This means that the players are aiming to complete all 3 sectors of a expedition in the same run. Alternatively, some people will use the prisonerefficiency instead of typing out PE. Only those expeditions that have all 3 sectors can have a PE clear.
hostile MAIN / SECONDARY / OVERLOAD - Refers to the different sectors of the expedition, and the ones the players are aiming to complete. For example - LFG A1 Main (This player is looking to complete only the high/mandatory objective of the expedition).
hostile main / secondary / overload - Same as above. These icons refer to the different sectors that can be found within a expedition. Hovering over the emote will give you the sector's name. If a player uses all of these 3 emotes in their post, they are going for a PE run. For example - LFG C1 secondary (This player is looking for a group to complete main and secondary on C1)
hostile RX - X standing for the Rundown's number. As there are multiple Rundowns in the game, people will often specify which Rundown the level is a part of for clarity. For example - LF1M R2 (Looking for 1 more player to play Rundown 2 with)
