[HSUs]- Hydro Stasis Unit, Hydro referring to water, Statis to inactivity, and Unit as in the singular HSU. HSU was originally situated down in the Complex, used as a way to preserve staff, and keep them alive and healthy(The occasional experimentation as well). It is currently unknown whether all of the patients in the HSU were staff or ordinary people. The HSU monitors the patients’ vitals and other characteristics which include the following: Subject quality, rem log, mental evaluation, redeployment options, infection level, nrv probe reaction, prisoner ID, section, and entry point. Warden have most likely added modifications to the HSU to monitor the prisoners efficiently. Subject quality reads out a list of numbers along the line of 38, 31, 57, 42, 625, 94, as of right now we do not have much information on what these numbers represent. Rem log, rem refers to the unit of effective absorbed dose of ionizing radiation in human tissue that is equal to one roentgen(a legacy unit of measurement for X Rays) of X-rays. Mental evaluation is a simple evaluation of the patient’s mental conditions. Redeployment options label whether a said prisoner is able to be redeployed or has to retire from deployment. The infection level simply states how much infection the patient has acquired. NRV probe reaction, NRV standing for Nutrient Reference Value, and probe standing for a sharp object like a scalpel. I conclude this is an insertion of nutrients into the prisoner’s bloodstream to take over the unneeded task of eating. Theory: the virus is a fungal spore that effects the brain. Info: we have the fungus, The toxic gas, the heads of the thrashers being venis fly trap like, they have Bioluminescence which can be found in fish and plants, the shooters shoot out bioluminescent droplets that lock onto you, the spitters do the same thing but only when you are close enough, the morphing of babies to what ever would be easier to manage in plants, common plants can grow past the size of the giants in the right conditions, some plants have a neural network through their roots that connect every individual plant to one hive mind which can explain Dauda’s condition and link to the sleepers, the skin tones could be explained by the blood being pushed closer to the skin from the inside, the bloating could be explained as a growth acceleration in those specific spots. Humans need their brains to live and be conscious meaning if the spore mutates the brain first the human is dead, the heartbeats could just be a mix between heart and fungus which could make it louder and bioluminescent.
