F i got robbed
I mean, I dunno
those generic laptops that would overprice it at my area
because people see the 16 gbs and go OoOOooohhh~!
lmaooo
and the i7 lol
I neEd iT fOr mAya and enCodiNg!
kek
that really helps
You don't mind using a 1080p 144hz? @frosty wharf
He can upgrade down the line in the future in black friday
Yeah
But with a 2080, pretty ovk lol
Shithole even the fucking 1080p got the priced jacked high!
I don't mind, the monitor doesn't have to be to snazzy
AAaaaaa
1440p monitors aren't cheap lol
I can try to look for some cheap ones
Nah that's fine
If he's paying 1500$ for a PC, he can get 400-500$ for a monitor lmao
yes
The stock cooler is already good enough for gaming only
For non-OC ofc
hec ye, thank
You're welcome lol
seagate is currently questionable though
lol
I used to love seagate but the 1 week RMA and free m.2 upgrade from WD I cannot refuse it
depending on what drive
7200RPM?
that yes
Kind of ovk I guess
ehhh $5 difference
lame
I don't know how people price stuff in U.S much
let me show you rma response from Asus lol
Stupid arsed WD
well it is wd black lol
Can't find WD Blue for 2TB lol
can get away with a simple blue <.<
Lemme check amazon for it
nvm is 5400 rpm
check black
Ehh
but then he'd need two
For one
rip
all my games is in 500gb wd black m.2
Β―_(γ)_/Β―
jfc
but I don't play newer titles like Cod
I do
or warzone
derp
all my games is in 500gb wd black m.2
@proper wren same but mine has like 20gb free space
uwu
kek
I need to replace my 10 year old seagate drive uwu
once it makes a sudden noise and gets louder yes
And apparently newer HDDs by Seagate are better
Literally every PCPP Build guides are fitted with a seagate drive
7 million TB oh well
wow!
all because they never used back up ups
What if I dropped the M.2 NVME with a regular SSD?
Pretty damn worthless going for those
ehhh keep the m.2
Well not a lot different in pricing
PCIe 4.0 is for bigger storage M.2
For this, it's perfect
The Tomahawk Max is an amazing board still, so it'll handle anything
Maybe not a 3900X and/or higher
Don't you dare slap sandisk on it lol
lol sandisk
Didn't update
yes
part picker list
oh no!
A devil
sandisk
Maybe just replace the SSD and HDD with a simple 2TB SSD

After all, I run from just a single 1TB SSD
lol
Everything still fast boye
Meh those shits are expensive as fuck
I can't see 2tb WD blue either
They don't go over 1TB
inb4 trade talks between Japan and South Korea goes very bad
suddenly ram is back to $50+
Hm
I have my doubts
Fuck it it's something
the new wd backup drives is just a drive with better driver and design look
samsung monitor uwu
Samsung cool
ye
Getting the same one, but 24"
Samsung no longer making lcd
24-27 inch is best
H u h
for gaming not at a distance
Seems they removed 24"?
nani
Oh I know now
It's 27" versus 31.5"
lmao
That's their other monitor size
Same exact monitor, bigger
yeah they removed it
Oh?
because not that many people buy it
$500 +
Cute dog
Got a new 32" monitor (left) and moved my 24" monitors top and bottom on right side
I had a 22" which was at the top right that died on me so got the 32" and moved things around.
Neat
it's a beauty for doing dev work. So much screen space.
the blue cup makes it nice
ha, that's my chocolate milk. would be having a cider but am working (hence the laptop on left side).
laptop specs?
Sell the laptop for more hard drives
sandisk
laptop specs?
@proper wren Dell 7490. i7-8650U, 4 cores, 32 GB ram and 500 GB SSD.
You survived my judgement lol
It's a developer class machine, one of the most powerful we can get at work. I do prod support/dev work.
I guess if you have any tech questions you can message me. If anything that is more very dev related I can just ask my tech who's also a dev*.
Appreciate that, I'm all set on that end. I run all of the bots here and over 30 bots on reddit/discord and very in tune with tech.
nice
RTX owners, get RTX voice.
It's really really nice if you use microphone often
Bye bye keyboard sounds. I can clap my hands and only my voice gets thru
so i went crazy and decided to order 4 royal z trident ramsticks
of 16GB each
It's gonna be epic
also got a firecuda 520 like ludvig showed above
my 1TB ssd isn't enough for games
@finite violet My man!

a todo (tograb?) list i was makin for a first time build/upgrade, complete novice at this n wanted to check if this setup alright
π
whats the use case, for gaming? encoding? etc
what games do you plan to play, what resolution
oh and what cm case
just mainly wanna be able to run modern titles n as for the case i think its a full tower
1080p or 1440p lol
im dumb lets just say 1440p lol
I can give better with 1500$ I believ
you mean the one you rigged up earlier lol

do et
3600/2080 ain't bad combo lolol
not really
This was build I put together https://pcpartpicker.com/list/H33XZf
I could get a cheaper fan if you're not an RGB person
was plannin on usin the thermaltake contractsilent 12 i used to swap out the fans
we start small here
You want wifi right?
i mainly lookin for the bluetooth compatibility + wifi not sure how bluetooth stuff works
parts wise
altho im sure i just aint lookin right spot
might as well get a wifi card with bluetooth
mmk
why dont i just grab a ethernet while im at it
ethernet
thats the flashy color stuff right?
yes
The thing that boosts your ego and gamer kills
it should def help out with my adhd
fk it chuck it in there
assuming LL 120s with lighting node
quiet flashy fans
yea this should do
And miss out on a pretty good 2080, hm
Tridentz are one of the best in reliability

lol
Got a monitor and keyboard/mouse?
And Poddy already said stock fans were good enough soooo
if he added additional rgb fans is $129 lol
ye alright lemme just do a quick edit b4 i lose track of things
it just depends on what fans though
HD120s were crazy loud
I went back to fractal for x2 140mms
Those corsair fans are a no-no from me anyway
and they look bad
π
only reason why I got them was because $50 lol
Invest in brown/tan Noctuas!
^
anyone own and run graphics cards for a while (5+ years) is it necessary to re-paste them after a while?
i went to town and cleared out all the dust and it still runs hot
repaste and get 2% extra performance but still gonna run hot
That's your choice I guess. I believe doing a re-paste new or old, it should improve temps either way
still better than having old dried out paste
i can say for sure my cpu benefited from new paste, i guess it makes sense it would on gpu
problem is i bet there are thermal pads in here as well as paste
not sure if i can re-use the pads
pads can be reused pretty sure
but if you decide to buy new pads you might as well replace the card
I mean, you can look it up
card model
You might get a tutorial from Gamers Nexus most likely
pc jesus
Some people just don't appreciate a PC god sometimes
so bored I'm gonna clean my graphics card wall
added
is the 2080 overkill for that?
I agree with this computer
expect the GPU
you don't need that
the 2060 would suffice
$800 gpu, $170 cpu, like bitter said
I've seen builders put a 3600 and 2080
but maybe you have a 4k monitor? (multiple?)?

I ask my technician and usually he will give a 30 min lecture
not saying it wont work, but its like putting racing tires on a corolla
If you're get 1080p 144hz, then you can just use 2060 Super/2070 Super
not to mention
1080p 1444hz
I think there is a bottleneck with the 3600 and 2080
144hz*
Thing is at 1440p, CPU use is less
You might as well get 1660 super
2060 Super stupid
the 2080 is kinda overkill for this, really, maybe get the 2060 but you dont need to get above that
Is same price like 5700XT
the benefit of 2060S is the 8gb and memory speed
It's supposed to do 1440p 144hz
amd offering better gpu compute depending on the application
It's always meh at the beginning because amd never fixes at the beginning till user feedback
Yeah sounds about right
anyway what a world we live in, guess there's a software update for my monitor
Gyuh then https://pcpartpicker.com/list/nThrL2
definitly a jump to more budget oriented with 1660, i didnt mean to shit all over your 2080, if you can afford it go for it
lol
Because smaller 1080p 144hz needs like
more CPU power
3600 is still a great option either way
Or 1600AF
1600 af basically 2600
Yeah
but cheaper
1660 super $40 less than ti with 1% difference in performance
just remember it will all be obsolete in a year, we all die and none of this matters once you're dead
Hah
tru
unless robot
also tru
Ray tracing unless you think it's dumb lol
minecraft
I heard some only got just a bit past 60FPS with a 2070 Super
It's really fucking hoggy lol
1080 Ti wouldn't stand a chance I guess

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MjJzibFTaqA Mmmm a cable
150$ what the fuck
for a cable
80$ over budget but meh https://pcpartpicker.com/list/cBVXZf
my guess is 2080 offers a lot of headroom for the future
could possibly update cpu and keep the 2080 for next build
Yeah
But if you can afford 1580$, you got a 3700X and a fairly cheap 2080 Super
I checked it up, it seems like a nice good card for it's price
hope you have a decent monitor!
they did that for the streaming part
think imma do myself a solid n double check my monitor specs or somethin
ive been lurkin while watching yall go back n forth with these big number names n i lowkey short circuit
Oh
Basically
1080p@144Hz is Ideal
That's all you need
if you're a hardcore game, TN panel
if you want colors
IPS
if he goes 1080p 144hz there's no point in getting 2080s or 2070
if you want colors and some good response or whatever it's called go VA
I have a 2070S and a 1080p@165Hz monitor
that's not entirely true
some IPS are approaching VA in refresh rate, socmetics
when I bought my 2070 for 144hz 1080p
Only thing I could think of was well shit I'm just throwing more money in the fire
It pushes frames and is good for streaming
I don't use mine for streaming
but I won't be getting the full benefit from the card
once like 2 years have passed I basically lose the entire benefit of the card almost lol
i really wish the monitor industry kept going with 16:10 instead of 16:9
Dude
What's wrong with it
Crysis
Yeah NMS is cool
Crysis Remaster here we go
But fucking shit and boring tbh
Sorry, Mayo
Crysis remastered I wonder what the requirements would be
I don't agree with your opinion. I've had so much fun with it lately, it's kinda crazy
lol crysis remaster 2090 required
lol Crysis Remaster 4080 Ti required
Star citizen
Or quad Quadro 8000
I used to be hyped for Star Citizen back then
how they being?
Forgot about it
gtx 980 couldn't run it
And then heard it again here
lol is that real?
yes
780ftw
can we all get in on some The Verge hate?

honestly, using DMCA takedowns to supress commentary on their pc build video
even pulling out the racism card on twitter
The verge doesn't know what "react" videos are
then their whole "you could have just contacted us first" attitude
cmon squigga i can see that question being formed
Haha
NOT LIKE THIS
lol i'm happe to explain what those numbers mean
I use my toes
If you don't have one, you're fucked
ok still got some questions on the mb but we startin small here so as of right now with my peon 1080p 60 hz that im currently sitting on, if i was to grab the 2070 for now would there any issues
No
it would run yes
I've even used 1600x900 with my 2070 Super lol

honestly that 2070 is probably slightly overkill for 1080 but its fine if you want room to expand
Gtx 1660 ultra settings 1080p but high settings on 1440p on gtfo
Rx 570 ultra 1080p medium 1440p
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WiNkBC3tx6s jesus Kyle but is stream pc
Would it be better if I put my Operating System on its own personal M.2 Drive?
If it's a dedicated boot drive, sure
It's fine if you add some stuff just as long as it's got enough space
I wonder how much space my Operating System takes,,,
What Os you have?
Windows 10 Pro.
yes
I'd just recommend 500GB for OS and some stuff
265 is enough
250GB is fine too
Are there specific M.2's I need to get?
I just suck at having it keep space
I see one slot on my MOBO
Are there specific M.2's I need to get?
i can tell you that the samsung ... something something.. is pretty good
Samsung evo i think
Oh i got my new one already
Oh yay!
Samsung is like higher performance
Yes but no
Can just get P1
Not totally.
careful, M.2 is only a connector specification, you need to know if you have a nvme or a sata port
Hm
the M2 connector will be keyed differently depending on which it is
forgot about that
Yeah
I mean windows 10 pro is like... uhh 35GB i think?!?
Didn't know there were specific ports for NVME and SATA though
Have no correct number rn.
So that's neat to know
They are labled.
And if you are still usnure.
Read the manual x3
It tells which stuff is supported
And if still unsure
just tell what mb you have
What if I bought NVME on a non-NVME socket board
Mobo*
this is where i learned everything :D https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ItMY3WHHowQ
Oh god I need to know NVME or Non?
Well a Tomahawk Max does have an NVME port i guess
I have the regular Tomohawk
@lilac geyser i like you x3 Linus is like the dumbest smart person ever.
But there is a port that I can see
I mean
and i love him
Go to the website of the board, and look in specifications
They probably have a PDF of manual too
my work gave me a laptop with a sata M2 drive :(
Well it's better than no SSD
I have no m.2
They can give you that but no Face Mask? Smh
It's not worth for me
No?
No M.2 on me either lol
Not worth it?
As for which brand of SSD, this may help https://www.pugetsystems.com/labs/articles/Most-Reliable-PC-Hardware-of-2018-1322/#Storage(HardDrive)
Rather take a second SSD
well that link really just declares a winner without comparing, lol
xD
but puget systems are pretty knowledgeable
guess who
I mean, sure
But I guess it's got its own benefits like
Got no more place for a 2.5" or no more cables? Here's an M.2
See an SSD you want but an M.2 is like the same price at same storage size? Here's an M.2
Don't give a shit? Here's an M.2
$400 for a 2tb
I did too
It's new
Ik its a 1tb click over to the 2TB one
It's NVME 4.0, I believe it's the newest
There are Heatsinks?
Like uhh
But why? xD
It can't get that hot that it would require a sink like that.
I'm just saying for a stick those things are stupid expensive.
Not even my impulse buys self would buy it xD
my logitech g9 mouse died recently, i replaced it with a coarsair harpoon
oi im a bit on the fence on the storage bit, already got a 2tb hdd SATA wonderin if i could transfer that over, but as for the ssd (prob also lookin at a 2tb) not quite sure which one im better off grabbin (battle of brands go!)
you can put it on your new system as a spare drive, if you have the sata ports for it. But you probably wont be able to boot off it without reinstalling windows on it, which probably means wiping the drive

i wouldnt recommend using it as a boot drive if you are going to get a newer drive anyway
HDD on OS is ehh
Yikes
Do you mean what brand we recommend you, what you need to do with the drive's file to transfer it over to another, or knowing blah blah?
where are your priorities, do you want speed, capacity, or low cost? (or all of them?)
also reliability is a category
to me, it seems M.2 nvme is where it's at for performance
or a older sata ssd if you want low cost, or a spinning disk hard drive if you want lowest cost/gb at the cost of a lot of performance
i should stop getting distracted, but yea im basically lookin for capacity cost (eyeballin that seagate firecuda 2tb)
Seagates are cool, but known to be unreliable
Could buy a 2TB WD Blue
Slightly on the expensive side, but it's pretty great

1TB for them is like 50$
2TB is 100$ ish
But pretty good imo
Maybe a bit less, but still
Are barracudas good HDD and SSD's?
I keep seeing it being put in PC guides by PCPP itself, and among many users
says the WD Blue is like 2 hundo
prob
keep the WD-Blue in mind before i make the confirm jump would be a slight downgrade from current 7200 rpm(which is like the only few decent parts that came with this pc) on another note this 300 watt clearly aint gonna cut it (like 400) so maybe 500 should leave some room for when i decide to change shit up for some reason
the yinking emote?
The gorilla godzilla thinking emote
I googled it. ovo Sounds interesting. Sorry to change the subject!~ I was just curious.
squigga: if the buget allows get a ssd, if you are coming from a spining drive the jump to ssd is HUGE
Can confirm. I put off getting an SSD for some time because I thought it was silly. Now I'll never go back.
A 500GB SSD and a 2TB HDD is epic
If you want, you can have a 1TB SSD and a 2TB HDD
That's what I have Muppy π
1TB to have OS and a few games where having SSD is good
the quality of non-brand ssds is better now than it was in the past, i'd take a budget ssd over a spinning drive for my only drive
500GB can be good too tbh
hol up
I still remain skeptical of non-brand SSDs.
in general it has improved
I wouldn't say any not popular brand is good.
im skeptical of anything unheard of
cautious life op
until you start gimpin yaself
im saying i would take it over a spining drive for the massive performance benefits
Hm
and im basing thing purly over the fact that ssds are relatively new, and just because of the years of development between now and then they all are more reliable than before
SSDs are not relatively new. They've been around for decades.
Consumer-use SSDs have been around for almost a decade as well.
lets say i went 2tb hdd 500 ssd
ssd to boot n the hdd for my basic storage
Can do that, but if it's purely boot, I'd recommend 250GB
having ssd as boot is god tier compared to spining drive
alright
If you don't need anything on the SSD
And only the OS
Then 250GB
But if you want to have some games on it to have benefits of faster loading in games like R6 Siege, etc. then you can pick up a 500GB
put your most used games on ssd, loading times go from 1 minute to 1 second
60x i dont think is a exageration
Haha

Not literal
But it's so fucking fast, I thought I'd never would have been able to obtain this speed in a million years
It's just the biggest benefit
Easily day and night difference
lord nazo, i bet you're saying that a decade ago consumer ssds existited which is true, and in those 10 years the quality has improaved
kek
In a decade tech has improved a fuckton
There is no way that something that used to be the shittiest thing
Would still be shitty 10 years later
think imma just settle for the 250gb for boot n take a 2tb 7200rpm hdd
Yeah that's neat
budget on life support in bit
Hm
just gonna go part by part to make my life easier
Check the price between 250GB and 500GB
k
And if there's a good 500GB SSD that's not too much more than 250GB, then you can get that
you talkin the WD Blue 500gb?
depends if you only want it for the os then 250 will be fine
yea pretty much just for os
os can fit on 250 and have room for a few games easily
i have a 120gb for os and a 2tb for storage
not that big compared to some
I guess not
I keep thinking Siege is pretty massive in size tbh
All the shit it's got
But then again MW has like
unless buget is your ONLY concern i suggest a ssd
So many shit
i was shocked when i went to download cod on my new PC i just finished and it said it was 180gb like wtf
kek
Are you required to download all 180GB for MW when getting Warzone?
Cause I forget
if you only want to play warzone then you only download 80gb of it
Sounds neat
if you have the full game it is 180gb
but squid, do remember how quicky you filled up that 2tb, just to understand how the 250gb will be
F
f
call me cyclops
like squigga, if you have only had that 2tb spnning disk, then going to a 5 year old samusng 850 will be a HUGE improve, emt
i know we talked up m.2 drives, but a 5 inch ssd hard drive might be a cost saver
2.5" rather
u right
you can go m2, and id should be even higher according to nujmbers
hol up
holding up
XD
i mean m2 is the latest generation of SSDs, but there are previous generation of SSDs in the 2.5 inch form factor
and that the 2.5 inch form factor is STILL and HUGE jump up from spinning drives
HDD to SSD is always massive
You'd be lying if it didn't
Unless it was a really shitty or nearly non-functional SSD
i do understand the dilemmma, a ssd is about 2-3 times as expensive as the spinning drive?
Yeah
yep
but the pefroamance increase to a ssd is like 100x
Yeah
Definitely worth the cost
Now if you already have an SSD, I don't know how it'll be from 2.5" to 2280
Then yeah
oof all the dilemma givin me a headache
what is your total budget, and what do you already have, like the 2tb hard drive, or a monitor, or keyboard/mouse, etc. ?
maybe you reuse the case? or power supply?
I mean, I gave him a build with 2080 Super and R5 3600 kek
do you guys think my cpu cooler that works for my fx 6300k can work for the i7 8700k
What cooler is it?
idk how do i check
lol
I mean, did you ever change out of the CPU cooler at one point?
no
Ah
thats teh one my computer came with prebuilt
wat im workin with besides keyboard n mouse is this https://www.newegg.com/asus-m32bc-b01-student-home-office/p/N82E16883221132
as for whats currently on the list is this https://pcpartpicker.com/list/L6Z7dm
the power was there when i started fiddlin around lookin to drop it to maybe 500 - 550 wat perhaps
ik i havent actually made a change to it since we started talkin about other options
Ah
if you are getting the rtx 2070 then why are you getting anything but a ssd
im deceased
i mean the spinnig drive is still ok as bulk storage, but the loading times jfc
Yeah
32GB, hm
You sure you want that?
And I believe motherboard is super doodoo, you don't have any Ryzen CPUs that's not Ryzen 3000 to do it
kek
Tomahawk MAX is good
It's basically better than the B450-F
I believe, since the specs on the B450-F had less than what Tomahawk gives
think while im at it imma cut the ram in half
un thats like the same list
Nah
Only added in an M.2 with NVME
Changed RAM to a 16GB
And the motherboard is a Tomahawk instead
It's a great board, allows more than what he picked which I believe supported up to 3200MHz
Yeah

that is a fine detail, but they are both b450 boards?
The difference is that the Tomahawk already comes with support for Ryzen 3000, I don't see any support for it out of the box from what he picked
you literally picked the same chip as he did
Same chip, yes
What's the deal about the chip?
It's the support of Ryzen 3000 drivers that comes with it
π
idk, you made the deal about chips, what the deal about mobos?
I never did?
If it's me saying "B450-F", that's cause I was saying it due to fact I checked it and it only seems it would need an update, seem to support less memory speed if he ever goes into that kind of stuff
And he won't have to deal with waiting a bit more to get a Ryzen 2000 or 1000 CPU
think imma pick this up again tomorrow be lookin for the main storage, (axed the WD black) power supply, and mb

thumbs_up.jpg
DONT LOOK AT ME LIKE THAT
Kek
what about the tomahawk?
the MAX is better because bios chip storage size
and important with ryzen 3k
I did recommend that
Like
asdafg times
And I didn't want him with a board that would have no support
At least having support for Ryzen 3000 straight from box
nice one, i have an ASUS GTX 1060 6GB OC edition
very nice
no
since this is just tech talk, anyone here happen to know if sound devices can be used simultaneously between host and guest os when using kvm?
You could just tunnel the same device.
@livid gust never done it myself but I think it does work if the hostallows for "PCI passthrough" (assuming the soundcard is a PCI card)
it would actually be audio through either onboard sound or usb sound
it should still be doable although my knowledge is limited. I think you can also passthrough USB stuff. THere is some 'guides' I found in the internet
what is your host os running?
most likely, it'll be manjaro or just arch
okay, I think it will work either way. Manjaro I don't know tho and Arch pretty advanced but has defintely support for it (the bigger task will be in arch to install drivers π )
well manjaro is arch based, so it should work with either in that case
you have experience with arch right? It's not the easiest distro to say at least
as for forwarding music. I think if you google "kvm usb passthrough" etc. I think there will be soem solution presented that can help you
i have some experience with arch, but im most likely going to go with manjaro since its less of a hassle for the same base and i have good experience in manjaro. but thanks, ill look into it to see if it'd work how i want
feel free to update us here. I also plan in the near future to do something similar (Basically merge 3 computers into one so my household has less pc's standing around haha)
well my plan is probably a bit different than yours. it'd be manjaro as a hypervisor and win10 running in a gaming vm. the main concern i have with the audio is trying to have the vm audio come through the game channel on my razer nari and discord on the host coming through the chat channel, then possibly music or yt on the host going through the game channel as well
but i'll update ya when i get it done
@void perch your work with bots has inspired me to look into working with them
I've been messing around in python with discord bots and it's honestly really interesting
Oh nice. Let me know if you have any questions. Feel free to poke around the bots code too
2070 Super!!
Pokes a hole into the code "tshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh"
D:
To ye who wonders about any price increases (In Canada). Some video cards mainly rtx series and 1660 regs went up in price by $20-50
Ram prices went up $20-45. SSD went up $20-25. Mobos tbd. Psu no changes.
Cpus not yet and I aint on the work computer to figure out how many suppliers have left along with pricing history.
Webcam prices slightly increased and there is limited quantity
can we have a live stream if you putting it together?
Did Ludvig ever post his parts list?
Would a 1060 6gb and i5 6600k be enough to run the game? I'm not looking for maxed out settings and all that
Alright ty
It's from some weird facebook post lol
@molten acorn I think I did!
Building the βbest computerβ in the smallest case π
- Louqe Ghost S01 chassi
- 3950x
- 2080ti
- 64gb ram
- ASUS ROG STRIX X570-I GAMING mb
- Corsair SF750 Psu
- 2 TB Seagate Firecuda 520 M.2
don't you think that gpu and cpu will be throttled due to thermal?
assuming the focus is on silence
Iβll be getting a noctua cooler, and sliiightly lowering the voltage
yesss ludvig livestream it
Airflow and space for aircooling in small form factor
Guess it'd beat or be equal to the best 120/140's radiators though
Itβs actually better then most, Iβm going to make a negative air pressure in it
Will be interesting
But the temps are the biggest concern
If you can fit them, use 36mm fans.
It has a lot of gain for little noise.
The are the voyages of the galaxy brain Ludvig
@sweet sage can we keep Labcat?
@molten acorn mainly for fun actually
See if it works
And the practicality of it
I have 4 computers in 8m2 space π€·π»ββοΈ
I work on a 4p coop game and Iβm the only tester π
So I need to be able to play 4p
smh ludvig play with the bug hunters
alright
That's also true
If you don't plan on OC, just stick with stock
alright
@fleet canopy thank lil one
:)
:)
Now a 620W PSU, that's something https://pcpartpicker.com/product/Tc3RsY/seasonic-power-supply-ss620gm2
SeaSonic Focus PSUs are great
π
I heard the Focus psus has had issues most recently, something to do with the protections not set right. Heard of the power supply shutting off because of that
I have the SeaSonic Focus 80+ Gold
So I don't know how recent the issue is but I've had no issues
Or, βIβll be getting a noctua coolerβ I already have one, they sent me one, cause they are the best π
Oh okay here's an article, it was a while back. But that's the thing when you buy a unit you don't exactly know when it was manufactured https://www.guru3d.com/news-story/seasonic-issues-warning-focus-plus-psu-has-gpu-compatibility-issues.html
Oh I guess from the serial number you could tell
searchin 4 parts feels like shoppin on crack altho im willin to bet thats just the entry barrier
You'll be fine, homiesauce
I mean, it'd be kind of ehh at first kek
But once you've learnt enough and know stuff on it, you won't have a problem at all
Just a few questions may arise, but that's it
yea im already piecing some stuff together altho i think i should find a way to stay up ta date on them since it would prob suck to go on another adventure while behind the times cause i decided to live under a rock

You use YouTube often?
Most things stay relevant for a long time, but if you put together a part list like a year and a half before you decide to buy everything the only things that might be a bit out of date would be the CPU and graphics card
yea keeps me sane at times
Can stay up to date with tech peeps like Gamers Nexus, LTT, Bitwit
And even then it might not be a big deal, cause it will likely be cheaper and still good performance for the money
Have a monitor in mind but a new one came out that's better and fits your price? It's more likely gonna appear on LTT
Also somewhat keeps me up to date on the newer CPU/GPUs tbh
βοΈ ποΈ
Mainly trying to grab at any performance
I'm gonna want to upgrade the graphics card in the next 6 months, I ended up buying a older card that's still a solid performer at 1080p so

adhd gang represent
