I've got a 1060 FTW+ but I'd step up if it meant more VRAM. Some games, Monster Hunter I'm looking at you, take way too much VRAM.

The 2070 has 8gb if I'm not mistaken. The base 1060 only has like 2 or 3? Mine has 6 & that's still not enough with certain games.

That's an exception, but I'm referring to relatively modern titles. If you're using a modern gpu and playing a game from 10 years ago at 300fps that's not really the same thing as say playing GTFO at 80 and I dunno I suppose Fortnight at 200 phaSheva

low fps could mean (very likely) that the GPU runs at 100% and therefor consumes max power. Same can be applied when the GPU runs high FPS and is also 100% used
