A big decider in how far you'll OC are the chips themselves. They're not specified anywhere from the manufacturer usually. But people go hands-on and check these details out and list it via forums or whatever.
If you can endure the ramblings you might have some takeaways
Video is almost a year old so it's hard to be sure that the kits still use the same chips to this day. But it's a lot better than being completely in the dark

I also would suspect the adapter being an issue. Have a similar green screen issue when my receiver is connected
when the green screen occurs just unplug and plug in again and hope for the best ๐

if you have multiple monitors connected it will chose another one as primary and move apps to that window, so can cause issues
