haha
like a nanometer step
keeping on whatever they are at, and then going straight to 9 or 7 or whatever is was
I obviously don't remember
😄
AMD is just shitting on intel so hard on the cpu side of things
I really hope their processors get more widely adopted
@north bronze They have problems because of Corona.
I assumed as much, kind of annoying since I wanted to grab a 2070S next week
1060 3GB
Uhhh.
Quite the bottleneck to my Ryzen 7 3700X
Well I kinda wanted to go 2080Ti at first haha
Then I changed my mind to a RTX 3000 once they come out but they've been delayed to Q4 2020, can't be arsed to wait that long
xD
What card do you have?
the 3000 series will come out 2021 (i think at least
The 780ti... xD
Ancient card.
F
lmao
AMD Fx 8320
But only 3 Cores are working ;)
wait how does that even happen
How is a good questions, but you should ask, why!
I mean, the hardware is over 6 Years old, and i have it in use a lot.
yikes
:V amd 12 core system for both
Not even sure then, from what I heard AMD is releasing their new stuff in October
Why is everyone getting a 2070 Super from a 1060 3GB like I?!?!?! This is too outrageousss!!
Was?
I was considering upgrading to 4000 as well
but my 3700X has been more than what I need
Yeah, I wanna get that instead of the 3000 series
if you haven’t bought yet, go for 4000
Because I feel like AMD will make something that's as good as the 9700K-9900K in gaming perf
If not, I'm totally ok with getting 4700X or a 4900X if I can
I hope it does do a good increase in gaming performance, since I'm on 4c/8t
Probably will price 4900X as a 625$ chip kek
I’ll be in the threes when I upgrade my gpu
3700X, 3070, 32GB lol
And yea you’re probably right
Ryzen 5000 will feel like a trial imo
Oh?
IF rumors are true
If what rumors
quadthreading per core
I wouldnt buy into it myself until the next gen. Let ‘em revise it and get all the trial and error out of the way
Can't keep my cockleech impunt on all the time
Yeah
I'm totally fine with getting 4700X/4900X though
Because then it'll be a good long while until I upgrade to Ryzen 6000/7000
For sure
Or if they make a new name lineup instead of Ryzen
Threadripper is a big ass priced CPU which eventually a Ryzen beats at one point
Unless its got superior performance in any sort of way
Moar cores
Honestly I might upgrade my GPU as well at one point later on, to get more than 144FPS on a 1440p

I just got into 144 1080
lmao oof
1070 why u do dis to me
Oh damn
Might just upgrade to a 2080 Ti or a 3080
Because 1080 Ti is basically a 2080 lolol
I just need a CPU, a RAM that doesn't do fucking DDR4 2400MHz, kek
Lol true
Like seriously I want twice more cores and half more speed on DDR4
And more spAce!!!!
Everything
Same, mine is dirty though, some keys are broken or missing caps
Plus it'd be nice for a change so I can have one with RGB lmao
I don't mind not having RGB, just as long as it has lighting under the keys so I can read it in the dark
Corsair K95
Broken stabilizers
Mega switch wobble
But it works
When did they make a 9900X?
Stabilizers?
Think they might make a 670X when Ryzen 4000 comes out?
Or is that not how motherboards work lmao
On your space, enter, and shift keys you have stabilizers to keep them uniform. Mine are terrible which leads to key wiggle on top of the switch wobble lol
Given the naming scheme they’ve been running with, theyll probably be naming it that
You mean the black switches there?
a
I also never want to take my space bar off again, fucking disgusting under it
You know you could probably just make your own out of a paper clip?
It has some feather to it, and as well as that they are quite sturdy.
So I'm hearing about a so called RTX 3090
Which traditionally a 90 card would be a dual gpu, but I doubt they would be doing that
Hm
If it's dual GPU, we'll be looking in the 4+ digits price range, and that will be a pass for me.
Single GPU's are at 4+ digits already so that thing would be ridiculous
Titan Z flashbacks
It is very unlikely they'd do a dual GPU card due to the sheer heat accumulation.
has not stopped them before
Unless they somehow manage to, would be surprising
good ol' days
Yeah, old. Where you could get feasible gains grouping two together.
I saw the waterblock, but then I saw AMD and went 🤢
Hm
🤔

I think why dual gpu have not really established is because it's not really adopted in the game industry. not all games support dual gpu's and sadly the performance improvement is far away getting twice as much frames with dual gpu's
used myelf dual gpu's. Was not really happy and it's basically a waste of money, heat and watt
i had the 5970 I think. Good times. they also did not cost "that" much
I had 2 gtx980s for a while, not really worth the effort
Not really worth the effort to even have 2 GPUs unless you know you can use it all
Yes
Yeah, just imagine having 2 gtx 2080 ti... only taking one slot
the inefficiency would be disgustingly bad
it would be like getting a 64gb ram stick, for only 1 slot
pointless
The problem would be that you'd throttle on PCIe 3.0.
It would depend on how capable it would be.
If you get a 30-50% improvement, the throttle would most likely eat all that.
yeah
not to mention in order to cool that thing, you would need one hell of a radiator and some really loud fans lol
it has to cool twice as efficient as it normally would
Wouldn't need loud fans if you size the radiator bigger, especially the reservoir.
but then that would defeat the purpose of the small size
because you would need a case supporting a larger radiator, which would in terms, also support dual graphics cards
so meh
On the contrary, it wouldn't defeat the purpose of the formfactor of 1 PCIe slot.
true
If you could run it PCIe 4.0, it wouldn't have any issues.'
but if it was cheaper and more efficient to run 2 graphics cards
then it would be pointless
yeah
id never use 2
1 is good enough for me, but if you were doing hard core animation and editing maybe duals would help
quick
most known case
or popular
looking for a decent case for my next build
about to knock out some parts
maybe one of the nzxt ones
Fractal Design's Meshify C
Another pretty good one is Lian Li's Lancool II
Both of those are in the same price range, around $90 - $100
yeah get the meshify c
95
89 rn
ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Not my style
NZXT for 99.99 has a uh
H510i
There's a white version of Mesh C
Ew lol
I mean, unless you mount PSU on upper part of case, you see the RGB?
Yeah

Kek
lolwtf
what watt and what certification?
lol 200$ for 850W
Gold, hm
It's G5, so supposedly new
Not bad too, pretty neat
$260
iCUE 465X RGB is look the same, but price is 135$
For LAN, totally
play on plane
Mainly I think it'd be cool to build a pretty small PC
old guys infront in first class:

Fucking piece of shit
Those Nuka Cola Cases were amazing
id spend 150 on that
lol world of warcraft
Money well spent for Fallout 76 Branded Plastic
yreh
What you think?
?
H700i is one fifty
Hm
I really want to get that N1 Form Factor Case
yes
uwu
H510I phantom
109
Might steal
fuck
but the H00 on sale
h100
Tuff decisions

or
pick
This one is nice
side mounted
The first one you're literally just paying for cosmetics I'm pretty sure, they're all basically the same functionally for the most part
yuh
pick from the bottom 2 den
If you want to get a case you need to get the one for you because you're gonna be looking at and taking care of it for a long time.
Idek what side mounted means actually lol
You should get a Alienware Case. Kek
Honestly I would never buy their computers, but I do like the style of some of their cases.
yeah I love their cases too
Its Dell though
What's the GPU @knotty haven
2070 Super
Oh that's a great buy
Because apparently 2070 Super has better rendering
Wat
Wtf
What is his CPU?
Weeellll
Please for all things tell me it isn't a Ryzen 5 or 7
After all, the 2000 Super lineup introduced new things
That does not answer the question
3700X, ye?
kekeke
You're getting TWO 2070 Supers for Rendering and only a 3700?!
I mean, why not?
im not a $ tree
3D render
no
Yes but CPU
Yes CPU
CPU wont render well
N o
dad has i9
friend has ryzen 9
Both say it sucks for render
CPU is gonna get bottle necked to shit
you got the $ for me?
Even though their importance has dropped in the past couple of years, CPUs are still very important for 3D rendering. The two most popular CPU brands to choose from are AMD and Intel. If you are looking for quality single-threaded performance, go with Intel.
Why are you buying two 2070 Supers? One would have sufficed and you could have gottan a Ryzen 9 for the price of the second super
...........
ryzen 9 over kill.
dont have alotta $
buys two 2070 Supers.
accroding to all my fellow artist
cheap
i have guy
only paying 400 for both
lfmao
kekek
You're getting the Bearz treatment.
Thought 2070 Super is 400$ each
Think about it Galerooz
Don't muppy
c a l l e d m y u n c l e
Just don't.
Could research yourself
I dont really want a overkill system thatll take me longer to get
rather keep this buikld
am happy with
dont judge
● Precise performance
The biggest reason why CPU is the standard in 3D rendering is simply that it has far greater overall quality than GPU. If you want your renders to be precise and your output quality to have the highest standards, then CPU rendering is the best choice.
t h a n k ❤️
Thos os wjat ypu thomf?
thats a extra month of working for me
No what Im say
I'm not saying you need a super duper beefy CPU, but for rendering you are gonna be struggling with a R7
Is how is CPU benefitable for you @knotty haven
What makes it not as important as the GPU
but the GPU is immensely faster.
BTW
Before the Cycles rendering engine came about, owning a high end GPU card didn't have many benefits outside of being able to sculpt really, really high poly meshes. But now that Cycles has swooped into the scene, the GPU is now the most important factor when buying a computer for Blender.
Cycles thrives on the GPU. Yes, it can render on the CPU as well, but the GPU is immensely faster.
like i dont know my stuff for my art
cus blender more GPU
It really doesn't seem like you do.
Maya more CPU
well yeah
dont use maya
Do you know what bottle knecking is?
kek
So having a better CPU just shortens render time pretty much
Not really too important for r9 if you patient
Quality
if work taht way, guru hasnt said
3800X??
It's 3700X but a little more boost
If you haven't
Or if you can wait
3800X sale good, just boost
I'm telling you know if your gonna be trying for that kind of "Quality" I assume 4k resolution renders your gonna be bogging down your system for about 2 probably 3 days.
Unless clock speed is not important, then go for 3700X
ok
Hm
Yes
True
if i need to buff up to CPU then i will
but my GPU Vram + ra, should be more then enough anyway
Ram*
I mean, there's the next lineup and then the Ryzen 5000
By time you get money for R9, it's already released
Nice
kek
play Crisis
Then CPU bottlenec

what for lol
ill just get thread ripper
S i m p l e
@fleet canopy bruh watch me dothat
let me get the thread rippa
military
Oh yes GI
yes
Well that's neat
lol cut down render ime to non existient
lmao
3900X?
Or 3950X?
5.0 out of 5 stars Finally!
Reviewed in the United States on January 6, 2020
Style: AMD Threadripper 3970x CPU Only
I can finally run MS Paint now. I am so happy!!!
l m a o
Hah
I mean, is core count very important?
yuh
420$
ill steal it ona sale
Cool
wait a second
Do you have a job as well?
Use* all core
kek
Nex gen?
yuh
What art?
Then R9
Every CPU lineup from Ryzen 3000 was good for gaming not including the 3500X or below because I don't see that shit said often enough to be used in my list for gaming
Your dumbass was like "fuck it lol maybe r9"
I said the same shit but went along with the knowledge 3700X is better for your opinion
Ahem
so its not loading the image for a year
You were like blah blah r7 much better
yes miss read
I understand that
thought bigger was better
CPU make faster but not too important lolololol
gyuh uh
kek
yuh
back to bid
49 still best
i9 right under
how much i9
oop
same amount has a 2070
r9 cheaper
kekek
They were in danger the second Ryzen 3000 was announced
:)
why
why
i9
why 20 cheaper
Who wouldnt ask there mom or dad for 20 bucks for the r9
Like if the i9 was 300 sure
it would be the top rn
But like
Why
3900 beats Intel until they actually come out with an affordable processor that has the same number of cores and threads as AMD.
wel yea
In the meantime, I'm gonna sell my 6700k on eBay for $230 while I still can. 😋
Well, we all need money kkek
Nah, Intel is just the same as NVIDIA: greedy motherfuckers.
But it's still neat for like 2080 or higher performance
2070=
2070 super if OC yeah maybe
But performance wise I mean
2070 Super/2080 same perf
Just not exactly same
Uhh
Highest I know is 5700XT similar to 2070 Super but 2070S still better in perf
More likely because it's better with 3D rendering in games n shit
400$
yea ill sticc with 2070
2070 Super is 500$
5700 itself is on par with 2060 I think
Well they gave it a 500$ pricing when it release
o?
same price
well
kidna
lol, i stick 2070
i already have 3 screens
so im good on that
Bruh I need a 2070 super
pick one up
still out here with a 1060
i got a 1050 ti
Get 2070 Super
1070 and 2070 Super isn't even close in performance kek
1080 Ti is better option, close to like in between 2070S/2080
It's generally cheap now
I have a 144hz monitor but can only run like 90fps
how much is that aud
You can find a 1080 Ti for like lower than that lol
Corsair Hydro X Series, XG7 RGB GPU Water Block, 20-Series, GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Reference
4.2 out of 5 stars 55
oh?
nice
gonna have to get a water block
later down the line
You're paying for a 1080 Ti which I think is more of a 2080 to 2080 Super perf
would a wish 1080 ti be a scam
A wish 1080 Ti?
If you're unsure, can post here to see if legit idk
my wifes friend ordered something off of wish
never got to her house until, a year later
500?
5K without sale
ohh the "retail"
I don’t reccomend ordering stuff off of wish
im having
a drink
@fleet canopy
want to take s i p
your underage
but
no one needs to know
It's literally a website for people to sell their broken junk.
At full retail price.
Or "working" GTX 1080 TIs which have fans that work, but the actual GPU doesn't.
Hm
once saw a 2080 ti for 50 bucks
pinapple lemonade with some rum cinnamon
deth
@crisp sage uhm worth of refund 😄
Strong cinnamon
@crisp sage this picture is enough for me to not want to buy it
its a 3 fan card...
besides that iv bought stuff off wish b4 and u almsot never get quality
It's from Wish..that alone should be enough for you not to buy it
Yeah lol
^
i mean the 2080s came out
Yeah
But if you can find a deal on 1080 Ti for less than what 2080S currently sells for, great deal
i mean 2080ti is like 1200 lol 1080ti is $799
Can find a 1080 Ti for less
amazons first result is 100 cheaper
I would get turing card over pascal one now, dlss 2.0 seems very promising
I've seen someone say something about it
Using full ray tracing had made it go from 40FPS to 80FPS without any graphical decrease
So that's pretty epic
Implement that shit on every game now lol
It uses tensor cores unlike dlss 1.0. No need to create that neural network and wait months for it to not look blurry
Hm
Funny how we could enjoy 144hz 4k gaming with next generation of GPU's on DLSS titles
this is the future
Totally, 4K still worthless on smaller monitors unless you can see the fucking pixels on 1440p
I ordered my monitor today.. 😮
the LG 38"
Nice
It seems fantastic
Hopefully it lasts.
haha, ofc it will >:o
What Lab means is hopefully you won't get another monitor that's really expensive in less than 10 years
