4k multi gpu and normal
oh yeah oops
Bad things about i9s, such as what?
that one
Oh cause of the Hyperthreading?
whatever that means
Honestly, 9700K and 9900K isn't too far off on performance
well I wont be sharing my pc so I wont have to be afraid of security
Zombieload 2.0 hell yeah
But steam is running lol
I mean, I believe it's recommended to have all applications off for tests
Just wait intell will push back
Nah
I have faith
3d mark just looks like warframe
And AMD is still making 2-3 more lineups of CPUs
Well yeah their HEDT line is pretty lame
I wish I had run afterburner so I can see temps to late now
what brand of rtx card you have?
2070 super
msi
Ahh yes the ol intel susceptible to MDS attack issue.
They’re really disappointing.
gpu was at 55*c
Nice
Just above a 4K gaming PC by like, 1K~+
How much did you buy your GPU for?
but it is golden Sample, aka cherry picked for highest oc
380€
new
when it came out basically
Well
350 for a cherry picked card
335 might work ig
Thats good
Those are peak average was about 58-61 GPU as and 43-45 cor cpu
what test. firestrike?
Yeah I believe
Time something
Oh timespy
Yeah
May I recommend AIDA64 👀
MSI Afterburner?
Yeah
Mine looks completely different
I changed background
you can change it
Does it have U- I figured
kek
but hey ill take my pc being better then 90% of others lol
I'm not too surprised I hit 18-19K for my bench
for firestrike?
Yes
Killing an 8350
88%, might increase a good amount if I were to have had a 3700X maybe
Intel Core i7-4790K Processor
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 (2x SLI)
ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. SABERTOOTH Z97 MARK 1
Specs of their 4k gaming PC
I dont care
oh you did 4k lol
I'll kill it like all fx cpu should be
i mean the 4k version of firestrike
Sure have fun
You bought the actual 3dmark, meaning you can do all of it
While demo gives 3 options
i got it for free
Or 2
Get that 7.3 ghz overclock maybe it could do something useful at that point before it fries itself
lol its on sale on steam and i got a free 5dollar coupon
7.3GHz OC, that'd be wild
i dont like overclocking
It would also be a nuclear reactor
its to hot
Well yeah referring to FX specifically
i mean it has the potential to be to hot
I mean, the CPUs have like auto overclock
idk lol i didnt design it
Also what cooler are you using?
Are you sure? I wouldn't trust Userbenchmark as a metric
Userbenchmarks booo
the random wire zip strapped to my cooling hoses is a temp probe
Why in the hell is it doing that then?
What is that doing, was the hose sitting weird?
why is what doing what
The zip tie
it isnt hot
You said it was?
i just dont want it to BE hot
in essence i dont want the extra stress
delid your cpu then
The silicon in CPUs can handle temperatures of 95C constantly, you will never see those temperatures even if you did overclock
How hot is your cpu?
during the 3d marks it didnt go over 53* C
No matter the case, a CPU temperature should play around 75-80 degrees celsius when gaming. When the computer is doing small processes or in an idle state, it should be around 45 degrees celsius to a little over 60 degrees celsius at most.
Like you would literally have to be using the gimpy intel stock cooler to see those temperatures
during idle my cpu is at like 35* C
yeah
No doubt it will sit under 50 in a game load on average
woops i meant 53
Perfectly fine
Depends on the game to be fair
True
if its Ark SE itll be 1000000* C
just download core temp and it will show you the max temperature it will hit
Run Prime 95, that will stress the CPU to 100% constantly. After like 10 minutes it will hit its highest possible temperature under such a load
Or use MSI Afterburner's benchmarking tool
For me, its 72C on Air
displaying core usage, as well as temps I believe
I think
, maybe 74
my i9 reachess 82c on 100% load all cores
Yes, but MSI afterburner has an option to turn on CPU usage on top left like you see all those fools doing benchmarks with CPU/GPU do
you can ? where
Go to options, go to Monitoring tab and put the status of GPU/CPU temps and usage to in OSD
So NVIDIA GPUs expect like 70-85C during gaming
By default Afterburner installs rivatuner, this allows an overlay on any game you're playing displaying usage; clocks and what not. You can customize it however you would like
Should be lower than that
I think so but it depends on cooling
cool with liquid nitrogen
That's for insane OC, no
Max temps that's like worst case 100% load right?
Then likely something like that
Assuming it isn't an intel stock cooler doing the cooling
how big is it?
1TB Samsung Evo SSD
Cause you should leave 10% space unoccupied
Bunch of games
well ok then I guess its on the limit
A limit? Lemme pull out the time I had 3GB left
The limit for me is I-Don't-Care-Lol
kek
I just have Destiny 2 still installed, I dislike it now for crappy content
98.4GB now kek
i have my os on an m.2 drive and its is the ONLY THING on that drive
Intel stock cooler
The best game I have ever played
thats what I said on every single review I've written
29 pair of reviews
os on a m2 drive is kinda wasted I think
I mean does windows really have to load that 1 sec faster
but I have the same on my other pc but I regret it
I'm averaging 63C for my GPU
I've seen about 65C max for my CPU, averaging 58C ish
98% GPU usage, usually around 47-53% usage for CPU
I got a 1tb M.2 cause it was literally the same price as Sata drives at the same capacity

my brother runs computer on a HDD and it takes like 20 seconds to start computer
Kek
Let's hope Amazon goes through with my debit card
kek
Rx 570
Guess that's gonna be for later kek
20 seconds on an HDD is actually pretty good.
So you mean you already bought a 570?
I'm going to assume you got a Ryzen 2600 then
Ah alright
hey could anyone help me with an fps issue on my pc?
have the proper specs to run the game, but the frames drop to like 20 in game
i dont think it worked 😢
Try running all graphics on lowest setting.
If you don't mind my asking, what are your specs?
Yeah, you should not be getting such low frames.
What resolution?
1366x768 60hz
let me check
Update drivers and restart, dont click shutdown pc but click restart, if you're completely new to windows 10 you might have fast boot enabled which means the computer will actually never shutdown completely
If that doesnt work you're fucked
Nice
You have no idea how many times people have had that exact issue
pebkad
yeah i just moved and have no idea how this stuff works lol
Problem Exists Behind Keyboard And Desk
No worries thats why this channel exists I guess
You're welcome lol
yeah don’t do that lmfao
because then you’re running off of your intervreated graphics
Integrated*
intro dated*
Edu cated*
inflated*
emasculated*
You're on your own there
lol

I have a corsair too 🙃
it's not leaking
just has dripping noises
which is apparently
a fuckton of air in it
HOPEFULLY it'll dissipate, but when I get a 3950X I'm buying an air cooler.

Water cooling is nice, but a pain
Look at that backhaul between the satellites. Creeping up on 3gbps. Wifi6 backhaul for the win.
what does CPU Culllng Workload do? which is less labor intensive for my rig?
Depends on CPU and GPU
If GPU is better than CPU, low cull
Like let's say I have a 3900X, but I have a 2070
I set the CPU cull to high
If I have a 3600 but I use a 2080 Super, I set it to low cull
i7-9750H gtx 1660 Ti
I believe that'd be like medium?
i have it set to large but i had no idea what it did
Just put CPU cull to medium
My current rig is i3 4130 and my gpu is a Rx 570,do I set it on low culling? @fleet canopy
Yeah, most likely
That'll let the video card do most the work.
6700k 1070ti how about mine?
It'll work fine, but I'd still let your graphics card handle it more.
Put in credit card thing again
It's just a thing that happens with multiple item deliveries I believe
The Battle station
not enough rgb lighting.
Never enough lol
Not bad, not bad! But 2 monitors? Those are rookie numbers; gotta pump those up! Double digits! Think big!!!
Dont have room lmao but working on get rid of the one and have 2 27 monitors
Nope lmao
Change it now! or atleast treat yourself and buy wallpaper engine
Cant lmao at work lol
Do it when u get home
I got you boo
Stack vertical! Gotta have that vertical integration to get the synergetic synergy going good!
I cant do vertical
I replaced my windows login screen with windoge 10 login screen.
I stil think for myself 2 monitors is perfect
I dont need more tbh i rather go bigger in size than more
Only reasson why I wouldnt mind 2 27"
2 is a lot better than 1, but 3 is where it gets good! Symmetric setups like PLP are so good~ Span a game across all 3 as well for that extra wide ultra wide V:
Would be nice if they made like 40" or higher non ultrawide with higher than 60hz
Or you can just get an ultrawide monitor and use a secondary for chat apps?
42" 3820x1920 with 100Hz+ would be golden. But I wouldn't complain about a wider version either xD
squints what are you talking about Ultrawides are getting really good?
Say, 5120x1920 at about 50-ish inches for that 100DPI love
Ultrawide is just not made for me
No, '1440p' is a class of resolution. You're probably thinking of 2560x1440 or 3840x1440. I'm thinking actually big monitors.
Fair enough. I like not having to deal with bezel deadzones.
even "ultra thin" bezels annoy me
Ultrawides are like 3x monitors without a bezel. Too bad you can't assign a different monitor to a section of an ultrawide yet.
Everyone have there own poison
Already had 5 people break their own ultrawide monitor
Ultrawide isn't even 2x wider than 16:9 'normal' monitors! Don't call that 3x, that's a lie!
No bueno
Idk how but they litteraly have like a black area somewhere on their monitor probably by not being careful or not following instructions
dead pixels? that's a manufacturing fault usually.
I mean it would stil be nice to be able to section the monitor into different screens tho
Inny not dead pixels
litteraly the size of an arm
Fuck that
wack
Lemme see if i can pull up some pics if i stil have them
It's mostly just so programs could be easier to manage, because most settings are only capable of selecting monitors, not much besides that.
I've never had a problem like that with my lg ulta wide. though if you're reffering to the sides? some games just straight up dont support a 21:9 resolution , so there is black space on the sides? some games you can artificially hack it to fill the screen and zoom in the image and use a bit of pcgamingwiki tomfoolery to increase the FOV
Im not talking about sides
more games nowadays are starting to support 21:9 aspect ratios natively though, and it's rea~ ah fair enough then i have no idea
Im litteraly talking about people destroying their own monitors since they dont know how to handle them or want to move them alone
The 32inch monitor i have now has handle instructions too
Only annoying thing about these bigger monitors and usually i buy them curved is you cant hang them on a monitor arm since their usually too heavy in weight or atleast i havent found a good monitor arm that can support this kind of weight
i dont like the curved ones so much.
I have a double PC setup standing on the desk
So its nice to safe a couple of centimeter here and there
@spiral patio games do normally support all aspect ratios and resolutions if they're made right. Most are. Eyefinity has been a thing for about a decade, and even back then most games has basic functionality working fine.
There are games where the developer/publisher has added artificial limits, and that's almost always a bunch of BS.
I can imagine some people going with it anyway, and the slightest touch to the arm will get it crashing down.
But monitors are all about personal preference anyway
I mean the monitor i have now is around 9 kilograms i believe i dont know if this number is with or without the arm
But thats not light to say the least
Right, but some designs don't account for the increased horizontal perspective which can result in you seeing things you're "not supposed to see" like object occlusion or certain hud elements not scaled to fit properly, but yeah I get what you're saying.
In some games an ultrawide or super ultrawide is actually a competitive advantage. You see more without having to move the camera. e. x. applies in MOBAs
I mean if you have enough room on the mousepad yes
Some players artificially impose 21:9 and enjoy black bars just to have a wider FOV
I don't see it being a big deal for fps's. You don't want to be moving your head in an fps, takes too long.
well I use ultrawide in GTFO and it looks amazing. thought I cant rightly say if it gives me any kind of advantage.
Ultrawide for FPS is amazing! Especially for immersion.
It's pretty of course, was just saying it's not ideal competitively.
I still walk my dumb ass right into a sleeper I didn't see in the dark
pretty petty
I mean immersion. is a thing in solo player games but what about multiplayer
Buy a vr headset
VR CSGO is a thing
not a screen that costs 2 as much
Lmfao
@merry bay anything above 1024x768 isn't competitive depending on who you ask. It's not really a useful argument for 99% of buyers of monitors.
A lot of that was old pro's being stuck with a preference they have extensive practice on.
clearly the soloution is to just force all competitive games to 800x600 ;)
Oh god I hate people who are so desperate to hit things in csgo that they have to put reso at 1200 and fixed aspect ratio so that everything gets zommed
zoomed*
If it helps them, more power to 'em. PC is all about choice, including bad ones xD
1080p with low settings has plentiful enough fps for competitive games.
Screen size is also a factor, just physically. Moving your head or moving your eyes takes time. It can be the difference of reacting on time or not.
Sometimes bad choices need to be made
People will learn from them in the long run
Most comp players are stil on the same types of monitors tho
And usually not sitting more than 30cm away from the with their face
The idea is, having the entire screen in your vision, peripheral also counts.
I wouldn't say that's exclusive to those tiny resolutions 😄
thats why it was interesting for me to see those tests linus tech tips did a little while ago when he pulled some CSGO players to join him
Believe he did some tests on 60hz 144hz and 240hz
but not as interesting as an awkward segway into a sponsor!
I liked the conclusions about the average person more than the pros.
That higher refresh rates, make it easier to learn even without tryharding.
Making the skillfloor lower, regardless of the user.
Yeah same for pheriphials some are stil playing on mouses from the year 2000
Yeah, 60hz is fine, but more is better. Personally I struggle to notice much past 200hz.
but what mnakes every single game easier is hacking
The difference definitely is there, but diminishing returns kick in quick.
its proven to work
writing hacks is interesting, executing them not
Well other than for some kids
I sometimes enjoy messing around in Cheat Engine on a second playthrough on singleplayer. Make it a puzzle game to find values you're after.
Downloading hacks and cheats and filling their PC up with a load of garbage
Love how kids are linked to cheating
i found out that I can do funny things by crashing my GPU driver what would be consider as "hack" probably
quality game code
Lmfao
undervolted the gpu where it can still run games but driver willcrash. result are stuff like this. Only PUBG however showed things like this bad
no software code, just gpu acting weird
If you wanna become the best bunnyhopper in gmod download cheat engine and set time slowed down to whatever you want
then record it and speed up the video
haha
Tool Assisted bunnyhop montage
Going back to monitors. Who hates dwm.exe and how deeply it's rooted into win10?
I keep getting called a weirdo for sticking with one monitor. Mixing 144Hz and 60Hz. Any game or video playback on the 60Hz messes up the refresh rate on the 144Hz one.
desktop window manager is to blame
dont have games that are 60hz I think
It makes the frametimes go all over the place when there's video or games on the other monitor. I'd only use my 2nd screen to watch streams tbh. So the issue is always there for me.
Either the video stutters or my game refresh rate is all over the place.
On win7 there was a workaround. Disabling Aero Peek, and you had freedom with refresh rates
Still possible to kill dwm.exe on win10, but then you lose most of win10 interfaces and taskbar.
I.. intentionally cap my framerates in games to 60hz to be honest.. I genuinely can't tell much difference any higher and my reactions aren't good enough to appreciate the "competitive" edge anything faster might give me.
That would make sense if your screen is 60Hz.
First when you switch to 144hz you wont see a difference but now when I switch to 60 hz after using 144hz constantly for a year it feels like a rubber band
The biggest difference is probably smoother and more responsive mouse movement. Then there's the details like less motion blur and input lag. Or being able to realize you overshoot what you want to click and adjust quicker.
@spiral patio it may sounds stupid to ask, but did u tell windows its a high refresh monitor? cause windows defaults to 60hz
happened to me the first weeks 😊
Oh yeah no It's all setup correctly. I just force a frame limit cap when im gaming.
just like greekgodx :DDD
My first exposure to 144Hz was literal tears because my eyes couldn't handle it the first few minutes.
That's probably also it for me Hapcher. I'm very prone to migraines and when i fiddled around with 144hz for a while i started to feel really sick.
Oh I've been through all that. on a waiting list for an MRI at the moment. NHS backlog. been on a list for almost a year now.
but this is PC support not socialised healthcare support rofl
yes, i'm saying I've gone though that part of the diagnosis already and nothing, so they gotta look in my squishy melon
How long is the waiting time for the MRI inny?
I genuinely don't know at this point with all the nonsense going on here. It was supposed to happen in october, but didn't. But anyway yes PC stuff. Sorry for taking it off topic.
No Problem hopefully you get it done soon = )
PC stuff!
For someone considering a new computer, needing CPU, MB and RAM, and suggestions except AMD 3600 CPU, B450 motherboard and 2x8GB 3200MHz cl16 ram? Thinking max bang for buck
Depending on where you get it, the RX580 is still a damn good GPU. but there are cards now that are on par or better that are priced the same. 580 had a bit of a hype train behind it because of the coin mining craze, which artificially inflated it's price.
If you happen to get your hands on one at a discount ( NOT refurbished. it's probably been slaved in the mines and will pop ) - go for it.
I'm thinking specifically other CPU, MB or RAM suggestions. I wanna make sure I haven't missed any good alternatives
Also, I've gotten 6 GPUs from the mines; best used GPUs I've ever had. They've been run at minimum power under continuous load; that's the best case for longevity!
Without going into used parts. That's probably the strongest value combo in a long while. Mid-high end without breaking the bank. Should stay relevant for quite a while too.
Yeah, that's my thinking. I'd love to use a B550 board, but they dont exist yet last I checked. Though from the leaks, it's just x470 with 3000 series support garuanteed
That's a box
That's a box with a label
Hey its my house give it back!
Is there going to be a computer in that box?
Someone buy me this
well now I want THAT ONE
That's a 580 though. Gonna get a 580 or a 5700XT?
I hate how you know that mayo
well it says it on the box
Gpu is not that important
there is like no difference between the high end ones and low end ones
well naw mayo makes a good point. if you're getting a brand new one, the 5700 is the better choice. they have a similar price tag (because the 580 was a popular mining card so it's price is still up there) but the 5700 is new architecture so will be the better investment if you're gonna splash the cash
That more recent one actually has a decent cooler. Not just looks.
both have 2 fans what could possibly make them so different
Some coolers neglect contact with the memory
That Asus TUF model for the 5700s
doesnt memory temps depend on the case? its attached to the motherboard?
videocards have their own dedicated memory too
Not the RAM
Oh god do I feel foolish
Yeah the Asus TUF 5700/XT has terrible thermal pad contact with the memory or something, literally has the memory running at over 100C
Meanwhile the core temps are at average 70s, I dunno how they fucked that up
The third word in your last post explains exactly how they fucked it up
I mean good point
They banned my visa, amex and mastercard
Asus' quality control has been on a steady decline for a while now. I doubt I will get another mobo from them.
asus is like apple then
just expensive cr*p
However my asrock experience has been good
and nice looking bios and all
90% of pcs handle this game
you'd be surprised
here's a cheap build
990x motherboard
AMD FX-8350
RX-580 4GB or 8GB
1600MHz 8GB DDR3 RAM
and 750W power supply (can be lower)
550w would prolly be enough
I only said that because it's my PC lmao
How much did you get the 8350 for?
£35/$40
I won't lie, it was prebuilt.
Maybe they repackaged it after the fact dunno
atleast they sell in finland
The prism is the one with the light ring?
The setup is looking good
framerate is capped at 60 no matter what I have the settings set too, anyone have a fix?
Epic G502
the action figure ruins it
Fan speed
@warped hedge If I’m honest your flat is dope as fuck.
It'll be sold out soon, get it while its hot
Nah, the price is just inflated likely due to demand
Even the 3900X is a bit over its msrp atm, used to be a lot higher but its closer now
Best buy has the 3950X for msrp
https://www.bestbuy.com/site/amd-ryzen-9-3950x-16-core-3-5-ghz-desktop-processor/6391901.p?skuId=6391901
If anyone is wanting one, buy it now if you can.
so im having troubles running the game im not sure if its the internet or my pc, but also im getting a few other strange things happening
like when i shoot the machine gun
it acts like i took my mouse and violently just started moving it in every direction
for a couple minutes
Happy new year from FInland
I'm assuming you don't mean recoil but actual shaking... Can you post a video @calm hare
I'm not thinking its your internet just yet.
Mad shaking?
like it looks like im rolling around on the ground at 50 revolutions per second
up down side to side all over the place
uh-huh
That sounds like a bug in the game
try verifying the files in steam
and see if that works
@ruby spruce 👋
@abstract kite
Actualy Im out of ideas since thats the only thing that my friend recomended to me and it worked xP
My PC Takes a bit to restart itself, but after the reboot it works fine.
I was kinda scared to do it tho since if you mess up you wont turn your pc on
I'm using Ryzen 3700X with a X570 Aorus Master board. It slows down on error code 64 during post but then moves into loading windows. That takes a bit longer than it should for my SSD.
I updated my bios to AGESA F10 or whatever it's called
Had to do that for thermal issues
I had my PC crash during a windows update a while back, so I uninstalled the last two updates and reinstalled them incase there was a missing files or something bugging the system
I shut down my PC every night and turn the PSU off (because my Mobo likes to keep power going to the rear IO when turned off), and I'm wondering if the consistent power shutoff is what's causing the issue
It shouldn't be, because of CMOS
but I'm running out of options.
I have files on my computer that I can't back up easily, otherwise I would do a clean windows install.
So far, it's worked smoothly since I reinstalled the last two updates. Wondering if my SSD is just so full that it's gotten a little bloated.
Does it not flush memory after every reboot?
I would assume so.
I keep my PC on all the time
Restart once every 4 days or so
I would but I have tons of lights in it and on my desk so my room stays pretty illuminated at night lol
let me get you a picture of it.
I remember there was a SSD that had...
Let me get the video
All this would keep me up at night lol
I can shut everything off at night, but the rear RGB strip is powered from the motherboard, so that stays on continuously.
Hence why I turn the PSU off after shutdown
Found it!
The SSD is carrying 70+ RGB? LEDs?
Either or it bogs down the system because its to damn hot
It's heat
The fact it's RGB, and placed in such a tight space is what must be causing it
@abstract kite
Check that video above.
It isnt your SSD I know, but it can explain what is happening.
"You have the right to say: Fuck RGB"
"Because this RGB is fucking us"
Hyper X
Over 70C for that SSD
Damn
"So whats wrong with your PC?"
"Uhh... I can cook an Egg on it when RGB is on"
70c is 158F
with or without butter?
XD
Best build guide here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CDUZRNp4pxg
I take it back
Dead meme rises
I want my PC to light up light a Christmas Tree
I'll put it in my coolent tank.
Watching a build makes me want to do a whole PC build ._.
Like any, and I'll just be wanting to because it just looks pretty damn fun
It is really fun ngl
I had the best idea for coolent
Thermal Paste.
Just all Thermal Paste.
It should work, right?
Doubt the flow of it is impressive. Not to mention expensive
@abstract kite Just watched the video
Which one?
The first one. I’ll check whats good temps for my SSD and see if its overheating.
Oh
I thought you told me to watch it

Oh no LOL
I think it sits around 50C the last I checked
Check all of your components for overheating.
What is your GPU?
A Radeon?
Oh I have, extensively.
R7 3700X max temp AIDA64 79C, CB20 73C.
Aorus Master X570 50C
G.Skill Trident Z Neo
GTX 1070 max temp 67C
Corsair RM850x PSU
Just want to know the GPU.
Do you over clock your fan speeds?
Everything’s custom yes
I dont let my system rest until I know everything is within temp specs.
Never checked the SSD though
Wishes my Radeon Control Panel would open ffs
F
F
I’m updating chipset and cpu drivers
Code 64 is apparently cpu initialization, dxe drivers
Lets get this
Someone mentioned cooking an egg on a GPU, boy do I have the video for you! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BLdXfFsgvkE
Oh my
But I have the 2070 Super :(
This is the RX 5700 XT sigh waifu edition
I'm surprised it was on Dec 4 though
I thought he made a video on it much longer ago than that
Update:
Drivers for the chipset and cpu have been installed. Intel drivers were removed. Still had issues, so reseated ram. Still have issues with code 64. The last recourse is to take my processor out and check for bent pins, which I do not want to do (sigh). I will have to reinstall windows, thats a given so far.
So I guess this is a friendly PSA: If you do a massive hardware change, expect many software issues and potentially some hardware issues too.
The Waifu is Thicc
BRB selling lemonade to buy that waifu card
Hah
Why would I ever do that?
I can just get any card
And slap my favorite waifu sticker on it
But this one comes already as a waifu bruhhhh
Just FUCKING JAM THAT STICKER RIGHT ON THE CARD! HELL YEAH!
wouldnt that effect the heat disippation though?
If it's on a backplate, not really Inny
IT'LL BE TWICE AS HOT!
^ that was the joke, yes
Ah
Anyways
anyways
Have there been any news from AMD for CPUs? Like new CPUs?
the ryzen everyone was hot for is back in stock on amazon? thats about all i've heard
Ryzen runs warm
Nothing like anymore news on the 2nd lineup? There was a whole roadmap of it if I remember
Ryzen 5000 series?
4000-5000 yeah
Last I heard, rumor had it that 5000s will have quadthreading per core. 4000 should have higher clock speeds
Depending on how cool 4000 series runs, I'll probably upgrade to a higher core count.
If not, 3950X pls discount
I'm curious to see how quadthreading per core would work on 5000.
And how hot it would run
being 7nm
I mean, I probably won't get another upgrade until Ryzen 4000 or 5000, more motherboards get yeeted in, and some blah blah more shit gets released
So it might be another time lol
I would upgrade with 4000 if temps are good
a b550 board and a "4700X" would be sweet
Ryzen 4000 will be the peak of the AM4 platform
5700X
What gpu u runnin?
5700XT
kek
at least it'll be easy to remember
Yeah
3700X x 3070
Yep
HOPEFULLY the 3070 will be good as a 2080S
I'd think so with them going down to 7nm samsung chips
Lot more room
So guys i'm looking at this processor, how does pentium p5 sound? i heard it is beast mode compared to the new zen and i7 series
Or maybe it'll be better
What the hell is a pentium p5
Old and ancient
I have to remember that pentium is dead
I actually don't know if it's alive or dead
Dead iirc
i3 is on its way out too
unless they revive it somehow
The new Athlon chips doe
I keep thinking "Oh, pentium must be one of those boohoo workstation that's just under 3950X for crap price"
lmao
woulda been a cool hipster processor tho lol
How'd you almost get that?
It was the same price as the i5 with a few extra cores
but lower clock speeds overall
Gaming-wise it didn't compare with the i5, and I could overclock the 6600k super high. At 4.5Ghz it was pretty much an 6700k without hyperthreading
Bro's but what about that AMD 9080 Processor?
Bruhhhh lol
will it run on my 386?
Don't you make me hit the turbo button
Wasn't that button actually slowing things down?
Yes. Coz some things ran too fast coz of the clockspeed. I remember test drive 3
Who is the noob in this video? What an amateur.
This is how you build operate technical equipment. https://youtu.be/fjsSr3z5nVk?t=33
did anyone before me ever have a problem with starting the actual game
after a hard shut down the game didnt work i fixed it though
What did you do? Maybe someone checks here and it can help.
Fresh windows install
groan
nooooo
Cool
I hope this fixes code 64 and the long boot time
it better or I just have a bad cpu
😦
I’m sure they would. Much longer than your current case
S2 has a mounting bracket for a reservoir.
And plenty of room for all those fans
with the fans and the radiator up top its about 4 fans thick
my main issue is it blocks cables from the motherboard
Surely you can rework the loop when you put it in a new case
Perhaps buy a larger radiator too so you can bring the fan count down
You have a narrow case. A longer case wouldnt have any issues with that.
U gonna return ur old case?
Theres also the Phanteks evolv X iirc
that phanteks case is honestly very nice
^
Still the hardware chamber is small
a case was thinking is Obsidian Series 1000D Super-Tower Case
I mean 1000D is nice
But if you are ever planning on moving it goodluck on doing it alone
And if your not planning on spending more on fans that case is gonna look pretty empty with the setup you have now
i would be getting more fans
I honestly think 1000D is a bit overkill if you are not going two setups
But hey do you
tfw you have to reactivate windows after resetting lmao
F
That bitch of a watermark for me in games is a huge fucking distraction though
I didnt buy it off the windows store
kek
But having a copy of windows is always good
Even if you got it through pirating lmao
Wasnt pirating if I bought it :3
True
I still have a bitch of a loading time into windows and it hangs at 64 still
But I've always pirated it until like
but she runs
Summer 2019?
Oof
For like 1 or 2 years I've had it pirated lol
Lets recap
reset windows
worked for like
1 hour
creating a system image now on my HDD and also copying over to an external SSD
Going to get a completely fresh ISO
And try this god forsaken thing again
Im really wanting to cry out of frustration at this point
Aw, do you wants huggy?

ty

Hey can someone help me find how to boot off a usb?
Ye
I made a boot drive with the windows tool
I can’t find the boot from usb option in the uefi
Heck
Setting the boot mode to legacy did some sort of installation
I think I got it for now
Huh
Yeah
Legacy mode went into the setup
I had to boot in legacy mode
Takin my cpu and motherboard back to microcenter this weekend. Swapping mobos and getting a replacement cpu.
I’ma be angry if they dont uphold to their Jan 15th holiday return policy.
Hopefully they will
What problems have you been having?
@abstract kite did you try resetting your cmos, and resetting your boot order in bios?
@hasty aspen I did that first thing.
@vapid crypt System gets stuck in a boot loop and gets hung at code 64. 64 is CPU DXE initialization.
Both BIOSes have this issue (my board has dual bios)
My final conclusion is either
a) bad board
b) bad cpu
I live 2+ hours away from my nearest microcenter where I bought them, so I’m going to take both back and get another 3700X and an Asus ROG Crossfire VIII. Heard good things about that board so I’m going to try it.
Don't you have another board/CPU to test it with?
NOPE LMAO
God damn
I dont have spare Ryzen parts lying around
I’m not some rich techtuber lol
if only
Kek
lol
I see your back to smug senko
Smug
join the brotherhood
I AM the brotherhood
this isnt a fanbase
its a creed
Yes
What the fuck
@abstract kite will it boot in safe mode? if so, try this open System. Next click on Advanced system settings > Advanced tab > Startup and Recovery > Settings. Uncheck the Automatically restart box. Click Apply / OK and Exit.
can you run compatibility troubleshooter? i know basic, just want to go the safe way :D
headset is 4.0 bluetooth, but backwards compatibility and all that
already did it
"we cannot diagnose the problem"
no drivers on website b/c it's technically a phone headset
look at sound devices (and game controller device)
yea I know what to do
yeah that's gone in the latest wondows
i was at speakers, forget you cant configure it like that anymore.
you didnt?
that usually fixes wondows
na, 9/10 times I can fix it without restarting
also, never had a problem that needed a restart yet
It’s been straight forward for me usually
@ me please ^^
yea, wondows is wondows
yeah sometimes windows is a Bird
almost in again
Waiting for Spotify :(
Yay
as expected
windows just needed it’s restart
@ornate ginkgo
At least, I think so
ok, if not. Hit ma up with a @
we’re good
ok, perfect!
always uncheck this ugly "exclusive mode"
forks up your settings quiet often
So lemme just say that @ornate ginkgo just went into my PC and fixed the rebooting error it had, took us 3 hours but it works thanks to this mad lad.
This madlad also stole all your saved anime
:)
Oi! i could have asked it out for dinner!
