i got this one in november or october pretty sure
I also bought a 1050Ti
yeah, January is when the prices dropped
fuck me...
but i had to get a new one since my old 1 was literally melting
or early February, can’t 100% recall
i saw xD
But I was kicking a Q6600 and R7 240 for 4 years by that time
the one i got is like 60 % of the price it used to be
so I had to switch fast
also , i missed the new gpus so that was a big oof
smart
??
Because of fucked reasons
buy a pc with a really good cpu
give the one i currently have to my cousin or something and then add a gpu down the line as i dont play games that require a really gpu rn anyways
*a really good
but im just getting ready for gtfo , dy 2 , cyberpunk and probably new cod
i can just tell cyberpunk is gonna be demanding as hell
so will dy 2
yeah, will properly require one hell of a machine to run,.
it will require a 2077 setup to run
i mean the witcher 3 which is from the same developers was probably the hardest game to run in 2015
@abstract kite ;D
i know that the new cod wont be that hard to run unless they went like 3 gens up 😃 , also its on console
idk about gtfo tho
i read articles that said its gonna be quite easy to run
hopefully 😉
Tw3 was well optimized. Cdpr know what they are doing
Don't forget the current gen console also slow down progress on pc gaming. They won't utilize the full power of a 2080ti...
WHAT
stop blaming consoles for PC gamin
ubisoft just simply edits their "pre alpha footage" to look better on PC
no gamedev is capable of actually making a game that looks that good
not on PC
not on console
See:
They all do it. Even cdor
Cdpr
They had to remove the old fire/volumetric smoke because they wasn't able to make it good on console.
Consoles have literally ruined games specifically because of it's lower specs being baseline for the game itself, limiting it. Case and point, Watch_Dogs
~>
Which actually left features in the code that was a simple as a textfile change.
Graphically, obviously.
And then it becomes a crappy import to PC like one of the super dead and really super buggy and glitchy game
Not fully, but instead the developers limit the game on PC specifically because they don't want the console players to feel cheaped out.
30 fps caps, lowered graphical fidelity, removing of features, auto-aim. Some of the factors.
Obviously, at times it's just a hardcoded console game with a PC port, but what I talk of is PC games with console variants.
Reminds me of Need for Speed: Rivals, I believe, with it's hard coded 30 FPS.
Oof
Hmm
Developers, you've done it again. You've made the impossible possible. You've made the emulation speed bound to the framerate, just like in late 1980's PC games and console games.
In 2013.
I'm unsure, but I would think so.
I mean, if 60FPS is hardly playable, 240Hz is pushing a button and hitting the wall on the other side of the map in an instant.
makes me remember when I played geometry wars in 1.5x speed on desmume
was fun XD
2x speed was impossible
Just look T the witcher 2. A game that was made exclusively for PC. Porting it to console much later was really difficult. And the graphic details in this game was ahead of everything for an old game. With option designed for the future. (Uber-sampling)
Results with DDR4 RAM at 2133MHz
Still confuse oofer
Burn the enemy alive
Almost looks like Micro Peener.
Low density micro peener
All pre-NDA Ryzen 3000 benchmark results we see now are artificially gimped results

Linus tech tips?
There was a rando mmo picture here lads that I swooped up into my nest that did not belong here, thats what they were talking about 👌🏻 Just to clear up confusion for you all. Just keep talking about the tech
Linus Tech Tips
more like Linus sex tips
I didn’t like h because he never overclocked the CPUs for ryzen
so it wasn’t as good as a review as the other major ones
also bitwit Kyle is better
Yes
indeed,
Bitwit is nice, I watch a lot of them, the LLT one was the first one I saw uploaded 🤷
He’s still not the best of reviewers in regard to AMD products
At least CPUs in general
Linus op
anthony even more op
watching Bitwik, Jayz & Paul now.
I mean I find his stuff entertaining, it’s just it feels like he’s moved into a different audience than the majority of his fan base is
Oh yeah, Jayz is cool
Yeah I agree Tinted
I’ve “met” him
@abstract kite Anthony at LLT?
He was at a micro-center near me for some event
ah cool, He seems like a really nice guy
he did seem it
why everyone is adding o lot of letters to their name tho
because why not?
but anthony at LTT ye
I saw a video of Jayz building a computer with his daughter, which was really nice
I can't wait to see ludviggggggggggggggggggg
Yeah Anthony is legit though
So it is a fucking BIOS / firmware / driver bug affecting the 1st round of benchmark results afterall. New firmware allows Ryzen 3000 to boost up to 200 to 300 MHz higher !!!
@dense wasp
yeah I read that, cool seeing it go up even higher then
perhaps, just perhaps that explains the first round slightly disappointing gaming performance reviews?
weird thing though
also windows scheduler needs more work - Linus tech tips got the Ryzen 3000 to perform better just locking thread affinities to a single CCX
in gaming
is 8700k still worth it ?
3700X on a 400 chipset sounds very efficient in term of perf/price
I will have like 1200-1300 euroes soon and i need to change the motherboard the ram and the cpu
because you spend the extra 60$ between 8600k and the 3600 on the actual mobo
the 500 chipset mobo are more expensive, but you can put a 3000 on a 400 chipset
And you get 20% better perfmirmance
he has the money to do an 570 chipset, and it’ll be worth it
So AMD wins this time huh ?
do you really need pcie 4.0? and a fan on the mobo?
Yes
yeah 100% def win, look at the last linustechtips vid
I always know that their prices are the best
but i've also known that they are better for multitasking
the 3700X is about the same performance as a 9900k but half the price, twice the L3 cache, and 30% less energy consumed
What about the cpu usage and the temp ?
They’re better on the usage, and temperature whise you can use the stock cooler
tho the 3800X is 105W
it's 600€ where I'm at
that’s also 105w iirc
yup ^
it’s damn good too, iirc as good as an i9
But the thing is that i am with an 1070
better
will be there a bottleneck
the 3700X is equal to a i9
that’s ok, get a 3700
so the 3900X is way better
yeah, no bottlenecking
Which is the best motherboard for the 3900x ? ( MSI )
Bottlenecking is where you don’t have as good as a CPU, the GPU doesn’t play into it
not sure about that, though I can recommend one that isn’t too expensive and not a waste of money
Good; you’ll want the higher speed
I got a I5-9700k
@gusty glacier gaming plus, gaming pro or gaming pro carbon
with X470 chipset
any of those are below 200 bucks
boosts up to 4.3 GHz and can overclock to 5
Gaming Pro Carbon fits me 😄
This is what I’m looking at, there’s no point not getting x570
Yeah, Pro Carbon should be good
I'd take the gaming plus tbh, it has already 2x pcie 3.0 16x
The thing is, this chipset can handle faster speeds, so you might see an improvement in your GPU
But i dont think that these CPU's are in my country yet..
yeah, but it’s not 2x 4.0
it makes it faster
x570 release date?
if you want the X570 I'd suggest a X570-A PRO or a X570 GAMING PLUS
Pro carbon has two 4.0 x16 though
"MPG X570 GAMING EDGE WIFI" is also an option
Well the motherboard and the cpu are not in my country yet but we will see
I've been always with this A10 7850k
GOd damn right
62%
I was also planning after i get these parts and all to get money for the 1080ti
Nah, there’s no point
you wot
2070Super’s coming out
unless you can get a good used one
2070 super = 2075
2060 super = 2065
I might get the 3900x
it's litteraly in between in terms of number of cores, performance and price, pure useless bullshit
@gusty glacier what are you planning to do on your computer?
if it's for gaming and speed, the 3800X is the best
Gaming
The 2060S is almost the same as the founders edition 2070
eh
Whats the diffrence between 3800 and 3900 ?>
it's pure gold for pro users
Then why are you telling that the 3800 is better
Unless you’re doing some extreme 3d stuff, there’s no point
but for gaming it's slower
isn't the 3900 clocked lower?
Can’t remember
they’re all 1% up and down of each other thog h
it’s just the 3900 that I don’t know 100% about
i can change the PSU as well its not a problem
you don't even need a 3800 for gaming you know, a 3600 (no X) would be perfect
on a X470
or get a X570 and wait for next gen GPU
👆
before you have slight issues with the Aaa games
I bet 5~10
my 7700k is 2yo and I still see no difference
hardware moves fast but cpu usage does not
same
that’s a good point, CPU isn’t as important as GPU
just different use

You’re 1070 will be about the 3-4 years before aaa games aren’t the best
then you’ll want to upgrade
I will upgrade the GPU next year
Thing is
AMD or NVIDIA
My previous GPU was r9 280x
It was a very stable one
my 1070 holds well indeed, especialy for 1080p 144Hz :3
i am 144hz as well 😛
higher framerate for the win ( ^w^)
eSports ready
If im ever going to upgrade my monitor it will be max 2k
4k is just dumb
for me
BIG
actualy, smol because of windows
I once said to my friend : Do you want windows 10 ? He went to open all 10 windows
And said for a better signal
depends on your price bracket
im just waiting on the 2080S benchmarks
I just want a 2080 ti super XD
I bet you didn't understand what I meant with "1690ti" :p
ti = improved
90 = two 80 chips on one board
80 = top of the range
16 = 20 but with usefull cores instead of all that rtx and tensor crap
so basicaly GTX: ENDGAME
This card will be inevitable!
well a gtx 590 was basicaly two 580 on one board
the 1660 is a 2060 with cuda cores instead of rtx and tensor cores
and the 1080ti is the best of the 10s
so yeah, makes sense to me
1080ti should do it xd
Just saw few benchmark videos
I think i might go for the 9700k but not sure yet
My main purpose is gaming
9600 will do the job
So I guess you're not exactly going for any of the 2000 series?
wait how the fuck intel is branding the 9000
Well i was looking at 2080 as well but
Price?
its like 400 leva ( 200 euroes ) more expensive than the 1080ti
You can get a used 2080 Ti for 800-900 USD ish
used....
In my country its a little bit complicated
Well it's actually a refurbished 2080 Ti
You can just go for a 8700K if you want or a 9700K
just get the new fast one smdh
Well if you still gonna upgrade it later on
9700K
9900K is one expensive fucker
But you can get that too
if the benches say 9700k < 3700x, get the 3700x
I think it was the opposite
They said it again that intel is still the gaming champ though
2080 is literally like 1080ti but with 3 frames up0
i can use ray tracing on the 1080ti
I'm gonna look at whichever 1080 ti or 2080 is better
I looked a few videos you might as well
I'm gonna check out videos and use Userbenchmark
Surprisingly
1080 Ti proves better than 2080
tbh it would not matter if it was 3 gigs apart
Just in case xd
They will in the future
I've seen this
But at some games you can see that the rtx has more
83K tested on 1080ti and 337K tested on 2080
And with what cpu are they testing this
What
It proves 2080 is better
I'll just check through comparison again
2080 does good on what some of 1080 Ti can't do well
But it's not much of a difference
Same goes for other way around
Basically go for the 1080 ti xd
yeah haha
Yeah ig
I will push my muscles to get extra money for these then
msi z390 gaming pro carbon ac
and probably 32 of that ram i mentioned
16 GB is absolutely perfect for gaming
Also i saw that some people saying that the 9700k is worse than the 8700k
But they are random youtube comments
I guess
9700k extra 12 fps xd
I mean its like 100 leva ( 50 euroes ) more expensive
yes but actually no
THEY ARE AT THE SAME PRICE LMAO XD
Then uhh
and i have a 5% discount code
Hmm
Comments aren't good
Ivr never tried them
Which one do you think its better
The 9700k is newer for sure
but there is always this comeback
Many will say 8700K
Also they're saying i9 is a workstation CPU
8700K is definitely better
However they didnt show it in the new 3900x benchmark video
they showd the 9700k
ah the i7 8700k has hyper threading
Whats yours
Do it now xd
Not atm though
Why the 3 gb though
Back before I learned how to build a PC and learn everything about the PC building and their parts, I got the card because my dumb ass didn't know about VRAM and thought there was only one kind of 1060 from multiple brands

I'm gonna be getting a 2070 next
Thank god you didnt take the 1050 3 GB 😄 😄
Well now you know
I've been waiting for a new PC since 2016 xd
I want to have a new one to play Cyberpunk..
My cpu f(cks up everything
Heck im really tempted to jump on the rtx train for cyberpunk for sure
hehe, I am,
luckily it coincides with building a high end rig to test GTFO on.. 8)
A custom build?
If i have spare money i can do the watercooling ting
Ah cool
but I'll probably do a couple of zen2 builds, that will be fun
you could, noone of these burned up luckily!
Hehe
yeah,
but it was either the south bridge or a condensor that was faulty
guessing DOA motherboard
I was thinking the same
i mean
while im with the 1070 the 8700k wont bottleneck at least ..
But my brother was like No WE WILL GET A DAMN i9
i9 is not like
I told him shut up
Even if it meant 9900K was said to be the best for gaming
I need a 1920x1080p 144hz reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
kek probably
I do have one ( 'w')
@abstract kite same 😃
I'm here with a 2560x1440p
2k with 1060 😄
My computer at home is nothing wild atm,
but building a 3950x, 2080ti rig would be neat, haha
hehe, hope GTFO won't be framerate-limited
At 60Hz as my brother convinced me to get it
I hope gtfo has a FOV
You will be able to do some tweaking for sure
nut
but we are limiting it to not removing stuff that would actually effect gameplay/make it easier etc etc.
like removing the fog, etc etc
I'm getting a 3950X with Super 2080 Ti- nevermind
ofc
Hey ludvig. Will GTFO have for example low textures 1 VRAM or sort of ?
max gamma is the thing I do the most
we do some sort of texture quality slider, not entirely sure about the vram thing thou
For honor is a good example
IT will be like Low , Medium , High , Very High , GTFO
GTFO
Get The mainFrame Out graphics
Can we bhop ?
mom said it's my turn on gtfo
Boom boom
gib plz
bhop is for Source isn't it?
👆
bhop in gtfo
was about to say it
Damn it 😄
gtfo is made in unreal?
naw we're in Unity
unity is gud
the most important question is
when we apply the textures . DO we have to reset the whole game
or just done
hm, maybe I should take a look at something similiar to this:
https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/tools/utilities/advanced-fps-counter-14656
a 1080
A 70Hz?
My future waifu but ti xd
70hz ?
old freq
arent they suppost to be 75 ?
70Hz is a basic vga setting
I've seen 74Hz
i tried 29 as well
my eyes are dead
You are just describing our PCs in School
That was my PC
but as it starts to get shitty at 146 I got back to 144, not worth it
like lots of colored lines -shitty
Ah oki
We can talk about tech all day lol
If we run out of words we will use the old A10s
When i started battlefield 1 i died
cpu usage 100%
30 fps
Hmm
It was a little bit better but it was not worth it
I never touched the gpu though xd
Its 2nd hand
But it was from a trustable person
I may OC my case
Me 2
uwu
I will oc my ram
I'll OC my RGB
Because the max is 2666 as in general
Oh dang
I will OC my bread
I will OC overcooked
So the plan is simple
i buy all the things
then get money sell the old gpu get 1080ti
and rock on
ez
Im not gonna play more than 1080p 144hz so ...
Haha, big plan there, buy all the things!
BUY ALL THE THINGS
AAAAAAAA
Probably like
Over 100K
Or nearly 500K
You can have a PC build for 100K I believe
I’ll send the screenshot of the enemies going boom tomorrow ;0 forgot to upload it when we talked about it earlier, haha
And it’s on the computer, it’s a hard life
Yeee
Remind me tomrrow 😉
I will send you all results from gtfo ;)
@fleet canopy i will buy that diamond case for 800k
long time ago i saw a diamond case for 800k
mhm
🎮 💦
mhm
Who wants it even
i will stick with my urban s31
I love the black cases
Dubai rich asses
Black case with a hint of blue
Diamond cases?
Or black with hint of red
That's new.
Like real diamonds on case
Yeah no. Imma stick my black case
I've seen it on a top 5 most expensive pc cases
Lmao
You have the clear side panel?
Same.
Thermaltake here
I'm gonna look for exact case
Mines a Thermaltake I was meaning same for the clear panel.
My whole rig is RGB so it look kinda cool Cuz the panel is smoked
I always loved that Mac Ad - Future performence . Years ahead .
Oof
and they show some low spec laptop 0
I prefer a little RGB
Like
RGB fans are alright
And RGB on GPU is alright
Like for the lettering
On the rtx gpus
Hmm?
My liquid pump, RAM, motherboard, and fans are all rgb
it lights GEFORCE RTX instead of MSI or ASUS
I have a 1060 with transitioning RGB lettering
With full color options.
Like a fading color
of rainbow
I have a music mode
It's pretty sweet for the GPU, but the GPU itself isn't
haha
1060 3GB faaaa
Your time will come
Okay. I will go to bed because tomorrow is another day for work .. i mean to earn money for the PC ;)
If the 7700K doesn't uh
They discontinued 2070
Really?
Yeah and released the super series.
1080ti for life
I have a RX 590 in mine Atm.
not in my country
Because fucking NoVideo will discontinue when they release new ones
But I'll be snagging a RTX 2060 super
I dont know a person who uses ray tracing lol xd
lol
Ray Tracing is not yet a big thing
Ray tracing is gonna be a lot of pc games starting next year.
Cool
Buts not like you have to upgrade your cards to play those games.
RTX isn't 300$ extra tbh
Ray tracing from 10 series is supported from 1060 ( 6GB) to 1660
No it's from 1060 6Gb all the way to 2080 Ti
I'm a streamer honestly. So for me it's woeth spending 399$ on a new card
Just add a sticky note which says 6GB
2060 super
Zotac
O
I only prefer MSI
OH
alternate Asus
This will be my first Nvidia card.
really?
Yeah
how much is 2060 super
My whole rig is AMD
1060 3GB is my first lol
1070 is my first
2060 super is 399$
Sales on GPUs are easy to find and you can possibly get like
Yeah it benchmarks between a 1070 - 1080
a 2080 Ti for 950$ as I've saw
2080ti is just too much
But I don't have Ray tracing on this card.
And I like cod. And the new cod has ray tracing.
I'm honestly surprised 1660 Ti was weaker than a 1060 3GB
So I wanna experiance it.
@fleet canopy whaa
The new CoD has ray trace?
Yeah on pc.
I checked on the uhh jaihaiofhaoiuhfna o
My friend got a 1660ti and I feel so bad for him
Videos and shits
1660 are budget cards.
1660 are eh
Could've got a 1080 from Ebay for the same price
however they added ray tracing to the 10 series and they became 3% more expensove
1660 isn't budget?
He paid MSRP for his 1660
I'm saving for 2080S
New condition
Aye super series
And the diffrence will be 6 fps . Mark my words
Should I go for a 1080 Ti next, a super or one of AMDs?
New keyboard just came in BTW.
1080ti
Literally just now delivered.
I hate my mouse
If the benchmarks come out and the 2080s isnt worth it over the 2080, I'll just get a 2080
But so far the super series seem pretty decent
Gaming mouse though but cheap and bleh
@inner lily 1080ti and 2080 are equal
I can recommend you guys a mouse.
Nah I'm good
It's fairly cheap and it's really really good.
Roccat Tyon is pretty good for me
I have red dragon.
My old Tyon went shit and didn't work well anymore
I just use some chinese mouse that weighs like 200g and I'm getting annoyed with it
Then there was another mouse uhh
One thing I don't understand is how people can play at 8400 dpi
Dude the lowest dpi I have on my mouse is 1000
I want to get one that can go to 400/800
It's like 30$
But I feel like it wouldn't be good for me lol
I'm thinking of getting one of those ultalite mice
Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
With the hexagon cutouts
I'm trying to remember another mouse I've used
Oh I remember now it should be from corsair
OH this mouse I have now is also weighted.
Yeah that's insane.
And I've used it well
I need to get one of these back
Because my current one is like meh
Not by DPI, but it went shit faster than those two
Ouch
And I got it during start of 2019
The middle mouse doesn't work effectively anymore
It opens up two tabs for some reason
Yup
I'd wait on those.
It is. Yes
But here's the thing. The mother boards needed for them have to have little fans installed on them. And if a fan goes out you need to replace the whole board.
@inner lily 3000 require 570 chipset.
Theres a doc out there
That shows compatibility
You can use em with older chipsets just dont expect to OC
I just let my pc auto turbo it
I dont run liquid cooling so I dont expect longevity from OCing
I have a master SLI x470 motherboard.
It does things.
Oooooo Mines liquid cooled.
If I can get 100-144fps in games I'm happy
I push that high but like....... My screen locks everything to 60fps Cuz of its refresh rate.
Yup
60hz.
Oof
I think I need to upgrade to 144?
Upgrading from a 30hz tv to a 144hz monitor was great
I bought a decent 27in 144hz 1080p monitor for 220
Ayyyyye 27in!
I got a 24" 1440p lol
That's 4k right?
I have friends that laugh at me for playing on smaller screens.
2560x1440p 60Hz 24"
Or 4096 x 2160
1440p is "2k" to some people
Dude I just see larger screens as more potential for tearing
Plus they're more expensive
Yup
Lmao
I can't move my eyes fast enough around larger screens. Especially for fps games
I wanna get a 2nd monitor after I get my new graphics card and Index
I hope I can find a 24" or less size 1080p 144hz monitor lol
And I mean
Way less than 24"
tbh I feel like
Like a 19?
Check that one out
Sorry for bad format I'm on mobile
Aren't they?
Depends.
180$ too
I think my brother wants to push for adaptive sync on our next monitors.
Maybe I'll see the difference with 1080p 144hz
Yeah
tbh
I hope the 1080p 144hz will pay off
Then after that
1440p 144hz maybe
My graphics card cant handle 1440p lol
I put this 1050ti through hell already
Yeah that's what I use my 1050ti for
I go med/high
So if I get a 1080 Ti or a 2070 whichever I get
I will totally see a difference lol
Once I get my 2080 or whatever I'm getting I'll probably go for high/ultra
And it should be good for my Index
It's a FE
And a blower
soo
Maybe I can water cool it if water cool is available for FE
I'll probably get a AIB 2080s
Why do I feel like this GPU is wet? https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=08G-P4-2183-RX
From msi or someone
Lol
Gotta get that mining rig!
I have a kid sleeping on me
And it's hot. And when I try to move him.he cries
Save me
Oof
I'm seeing way too many deals n 2080 Ti 2080 Ti 2080 Ti 2080 Ti 2080 Ti 2080 Ti
At this point
It's all the same!
Dude
Imagine paying 800$
For an 8k.. 80hz.. 200* FOV be HEADSET. Not even controllers or anything
Wat
lmao
Why do I feel like some of AMD's GPUs are better than my shit as 1060 3GB
I honestly don't mind switching to AMD GPUs
Yeah
Eh
Intel going to make GPU to compete with Nvidia and AMD???
Yeah
Cool, one more into the fray. I welcome all good competition. Not those that ''force me to use a specific thing'' if you know what I mean.
Idgaf about fan boying about a GPU manufacturer. If nvidia comes out with good product I'll buy their, and usualy do. If AMD is doing it, I'll switch over. I just want the best bang for the buck. (But I also bought a 1080ti when they came out, so maybe take what I say with a grain a salt. But I also only paid 750$ lol)
kek
To be honest, me neither
But I kind of prefer NoVideo more since I've only had one experience with them
Not with AMD though
Many moons ago when AMD was top dog i used their stuff. But if Intel does good work, AMD, nvidia .... it just means more competition and better prices for us consumers.
@chrome chasm though Intel will have gaming GPU's I'm sure, I have a "feeling" their stuff will lean more towards work stations etc
I wouldn't want Intel's GPU though
I agree with you on that one
I don't think Intel is gonna do it for gaming
Alright
It just makes sense for them to try not to compete with gaming GPU's... but I guess we will see. Even if they come out with an alright mid tier GPU it's still competition for the others
Time will tell. I'm upgrading my PC in april 2020 cuz.. you know.. Kaenu Reeves
In April 2020?
Soo I'll go with the best GPU, whoever make it.
When you can get one now or earlier than that?
To be honest, having the best GPU rn will be good enough
I'm fairly certain my 1080ti will be able to run that game as max at 1080p lol
