stealth tips, a room is only alerted by an active enemy if it screams, the rest is up to player actions/consequences.

mostly cause my friends that have it are never ever on
Catwalk strat is where you and your team just hang around the back part of the bridges preferrably down the stairs enough to see them coming
hel weapons then to only be useful if u can line up enemies

and i guess if u are playing solo
or the HEL gun if u can land headshots most of the time

the idea of the weapons is fun but they need a bit too much set up to use them to their full potential
gun choices are VERY subjective, i use the dmr+sniper, while others can't use those at all

I don't recommend players take both Sniper and DMR if they're new and are having a hard time managing ammo and health

if u just bonk everything wont really matter what weapons u take

No, you cannot play previous rundowns once a new one is released, however the lore is available on the wiki

Roket - it's easier to remove a needle from an image asset than completely change how colors work in the entire game, where the wrong color settings could cause you to not see anything. While I recognize for colorblind people they already have a hard time, but if we're adding a feature to fix/improve something, we better actually improve it
yeah I understand that the theme and asthetics of gtfo arent as comfortably malleable as say overwatch
it's not even that, it's just difficult to create color filters compared to quickly editing a model

i don't think you guys realize how much work it would be to adjust the colors of everything. everything visual would be impacted, shadow enemies, terminals, mines, turrets, every weapon, every asset, every environment and tile. that's a hell of a lot of testing to make sure that making it a 'color blind' version (and then there are mutliple color blind modes) to make sure that a color swapped doesn't cause you to miss something because they then blend together

R3 is “easy” for people who have completed R2 D Tiers or E Tiers or people who have little knowledge about the game mechanics from R1

For people who have completed R2, R3 A and B1 levels are just repetitive. B2 is new but also less harsh on players compare to R2. C level is from alpha so the only new level for exp. players are D1
C2 was a gather mission d1 was payload and exit point

Hi, regarding R3D1 HALP pleez :
- Is it normal for adds to spawn on top of u even when all 4 team mates are close by?
- Also we are seeing a lot more adds than any video we’ve seen. I’ve attempted this level almost 100 times and only beat it once
- Is it not a good idea to cfoam the door outside blood door which has mines places facing the door? shud we let them break right away?
What can we do differently, the videos have hardly any enemies but we have like 20-30 coming at us during scans
They will spawn on top of you, yes
Sometimes you just get bad RNG and see way more enemies than usual
It's a good idea to foam that door as it allows them to build up in front of it before the mines trigger.
D1 is always a clusterf-
Accept this fact and your frustration goes out the window.
It will always feel like a scuffed run until it isn’t.
The reason being, sometimes all die to mines and sometimes they get hardly damaged(with the same exact mine placements)
Ok so if sticking together is not helping them spawn in a different room, is it better to split in groups of 2 and fight/look for resources?
Final question: Is it a good idea for one guy to stealth the key while 3 cover him outside so that the guy looking for key won't trigger the rooms with like 20-30 people
For the first key my groups would usually have two in searching and two out hammering
You could do one and three but they spawn insixe the key zone sometimes
So the one guy needs to be confident about leaving if they hear a wave or room waking ip and let everyone know
The enemies will spawn in that zone making stealth a moot tactic
yeah so its like even when u do everything perfectly, hitting all headshots, we need good resource spawns, less number of enemy spawns and lower enemies in rooms with keys. Thats just frustrating as fuck coz the skill hardly matters anymore
I am skilled enough to do most of the levels duo but D1, none of that matters if RNG is bad
another issue is even when everything goes well, sometimes the cfoam goes thru door, or they break the door instantly for some reason and strikers going into floor/walls making it impossible to hit them 
the three big rng sticking points are tool refill for c-foam, key location, and if the room to the second scan door is packed.
bugs aside, the larger problem.

as scapegoat said, two searching together, 2 outside hammering.
both need to be on their A game though, as its the tightest portion.
optionally if one has fast fingers, they can ping the key for a more consistent time
but it makes it harder if he goes down on the terminal
Well, a protip is you can stand next to a terminal while it’s sending packets
You can do many terminal functions without staring at the screen.

But yeh if they’renisolated and a wave comes up they may go down quickly

yes, I am the terminal guy in my group and I do that too, u can do something similar for Revive as well. Do we know during the costant alarm, how many enemies spawn for a new wave. I've seen 4 strikers, 2 big strikers, 1 big striker etc. Is there like a limit?

they spawn like every 15 seconds and can spawn in random spots, so sometimes they sawn far, then close, then they bunch up.

So if you clear very efficiently, you can keep them counted and know when a new wave is about to spawn
Which might save you from rushing an objective before clearing.
A lot of this game isn’t hard coded mechanics. Striker ai reacts variably, and you don’t get timers
Getting a really intuitive feel about how things work goes very far.
if giants dont stagger, just close the game and remake the lobby.

We're going for our last attempt at D1 tonight, managed to insert the baby and reach the endboss once, but were out of foam and ammo so didnt stand a chance. Biggest issue is wasting too much time and ammo on the blood door, or getting wiped because there's a ton of sleepers in a single room. We usually take two sentries, should we try with duo foam instead?
Try 1 mine 2 foam and 1 bio or sentry

Sentry feels useful, we try to conserve it for a few key situations so it doesnt eat away too much tool refill. Whats the advantage of having two mine layers?
more starting mine capacity, if people know what they're doing, they will go down faster.

If you want it to be symmetrical add one more at the top of the frame horizontally
Yeah the first and only time we managed to insert the baby, we got all the way to Mother without too much issues, just spilled too much resources.

In C1 you're going to go get a new set of DNA for the Neonate, once you pull the error alarm and escape, you drop into D1 with the alarm still blaring taking the Neonate to a Neural Frame

anyone getting really weird and glitched gameplay today? I just had a game where all of the doors were opened on spawn, a scout immediately spawned in when a regular shooter was killed with a hammer, and my team mate randomly froze up and sometimes failed to spawn in. i also just had another game where some enemies were using the wrong animations.

The scouts are spawned individually as far as anyone is aware, so you'd just need two of them to spawn in the same place.

rundown specific means that they can be specific only to a rundown, sometimes they stay for more than one, sometimes only just that one, may come back later. basically don't expect them to always be there with every rundown

In my recent game (matchmaked) i was the host as of my feeling and for some reason i got disconnected. Is the feature of rejoining that previous game still possible ? (in future maybe)
You can reconnect but you need the lobby code

I like this game but the combat felt bad when it was first playable. Getting detected was usually death and random detections were a thing.

There's no random detection, just not understanding why you got detected

Well, when stealthing through we would make sure that no enemies were glowing and take out the enemies near us but randomly one across the room would aggro or I even had times when enemies in another room would wake up when we were silently killing.

We successfully completed several missions. It's not like we dont know how to play. It just seemed random or inconsistent when we were getting detected.

I've played a lot of FPS over the years and it felt sluggish and unresponsive to me.
It's mostly the same throughout R1 till R4 apart from balance changes and new guns
its just different, takes time to get used to

There is a rare bug that causes an enemy to aggro when it shouldn't, but it's very rare that will happen. We're working on tracking that down.
I might not be able to convince my friends to redownload the game since they didn't like it much. It appears they have added matchmaking. Is there scaling difficulty? Like if I do the same mission with 2 instead of 4 does it get easier?

bing when u complete the extreme youll get another bulkhead around the zones in the extreme with that just reopen the bulkhead place and open the normal difficult door

You can technicallly match with them if you try at the same time, but the probaility is slim. You can still make a group with friends, but then you have to use lfg. This MM is still in its early stages.
