Is there any randomness to how "deep" sleepers sleep? I swear for last few days we are trying to figure out any kind of patern to their behaviour and nothing we test makes sense. Sometimes they are close by and stretching and ignore kill nearby, sometime they are backwards, far away (>6 meters) and still wake up when they were assleep during a kill. Loosing runs to that is annoying and After few days I still don't know if it is something we are doing wrong, or is it some random element, or is it lag/desync?
@smoky citrus it likely that they were about to wake up but bad timing and as for range i have no fucking clue
what do you mena about to wake up, we almost always make sure they are actually asleep, even time it so that thy were just going back to sleep to meke sure we wont hit start of waking up animation, we make sure to not move before and after the hit to not trigger the "yawn". and still sometimes some random guy rather far away wakes up completely.

I am close to giving up till this gets explained or fixed. Running C2 with 2 people is nightmarish where an hour in, someone randomly wakes up and destroys your run.

are synchronized kills potentially louder than 2 separate ones? Is it possible to stack 3 sounds so that the sleeper wakes up?
I noticed that after shinig light on them (and turning it off) they will first "yawn" and after a second start beating even if noone is moving and lighting them up, so does that mean that he is in beating statet but the animations are just playing in order hiding true state?
im a little confused on the true state part but it restarts the heart beat timer so you can sync enemys that way also 4 kills makes 4 individul sounds that dont stack @smoky citrus

I have a question about the game, I'm kinda interested in buying it but trying to be as informed as possible before spending $$. How much content is there currently in the game, like assuming 4 average people were to play this how much time could we put in it to "finish" it? Assuming we dont quit if we fail ofc because from what I gather the game is quite hard :P

A run in this game can be doomed at a point in a mission before it's obvious
for example, you alert every room, every scout
you had enough bullets to kill them, yes, but you wasted them on those mobs... now you're empty at the end

me and friends are having trouble with b2. we got 3 sentries and 1 biotracker, we are all running pistols and shotguns with one sniper
ditch the bio
swap it for a sentry, and make sure all sentries are shotguns
try and stealth as much of B2 as possible, and avoid Zone 19 as it is not needed to go in there
dont think you need a sniper - scouts are pretty rare in B2 from memory
1 or 2 at max

i always carry a sniper no matter what
it one shots a scout, and scouts usually spawn at least once on every map (that i know of except C1)
and if not, you can pick off enemies from a distance and take down giants pretty quick
unless it's C1 or you're alerting every single room, one person with a sniper is never an issue for ammo

As far as I can tell DK detection is almost always sight based so if there is holes in the floor or it's a grate type of walk way it's usually more dangerous to walk on those cause you can still set them off if they are close enough. Same with if they are lit up below and you executed one up on the boardwalk. This is just from my experience
Yea I had the same experiences with the walkways with holes but it seems inconsistent
Seemed like in the earlier levels enemies below/above got alerted a lot more than in later levels

Best approach is probably 3 shotgun sentry 1 cfoam or 4 shotgun sentry

C2 besides being ridiculously long has been an easier map in my experience. For the final security check we had 2 turrets and mines around the room and only one guy went down cause he sacrificed himself as the last wave was chasing us xD

i played C2 4 or 5 times. There are many rooms you can ignore :D
I mean a lot of the levels are like that. Terminal management can make your run easier

let the turrets carry the load at choke points. have one player sentry during alarm doors who can support the turrets, thrn fall back to cover the team, in the meantime the team csn get the circles asap

mg is pretty niche, sniper is good but niche
everything else is viable as long as the team has variety

I used to think the shotguns were the prime close-quarters weapons, but I feel like it's better to have a faster shooting gun that you can just flail around when a big group is near you

Well if you dont mind alerting the room then yea I guess you could just 1 tap a scout to the head
But you can also do that with patience and a melee weapon and continue stealth
Sniper is good at killing scouts, but you alert the room. C-Foam can freeze then after the room is dead, and then you can just kill them

I think it'd just be better to have a good hack reward you than a bad one screw you. The main issue is just making it make sense within the world of the game.
Like a little proximity alarm going off on a failed hack makes sense, but would be really annoying and obnoxious - especially if you've already cleared the room and have to sit through the 'bwoop bwoop bwoop' every time you fail
One thing I proposed was a storage rack you need to hack to get it to open/lower the shelf, what you're essentially doing is overriding the servos to make it move. Flubbing a hack misaligns them and makes a loud metal screech, alerting any sleepers in the room

Same thing as the sound. A known element in an environment is discounted as commonplace and inert. Anything which breaks that monotony will be seen as a threat
or do you think having the mine launcher on C1 is basically a waste of a slot that could go to a sentry?

yeah, even if they working on something, it may not be ready for release so if something goes wrong they just can work on it ^^
if they put release dates on stuff people will ask for it all the time. So they don't have to pressure themselves (atleast that's how i understand this)
Right now they are working on bug fixes, the next rundown. I can't speak for anything else at the moment @proper leaf. Announcements will be via #game-announcements when there are some of the #become-an-ambassador email for major game info.

Also Zerker, there are loadouts for each player, you can see what eachother has at ALL times and build your team around a specific setup assuming they're cool with synergising. 2 weapon slots (One for main weapon, one for special), 1 "TOOL" and 1 Melee weapon (All melee weapons are the same, but the sledge is best and anyone who says otherwise is wrong)
around 30-60+ hours
jesus 30-60 hours with just 6 missions that's insane
yeah you will fail them often :'D
Also Zerker, in the 9 hours I have played, I have finished the first two missions. Just think about that

Like the ol cinematic kinda dealio trailer, seemed like story mode is a thing with the narrator, voiced characters, etc. But I assume that would be a final release thing
