My friend and I have duoβd the first 3 missions and we couldnβt make it past the first activation sequence of C1
solo c1, there is a method to it without exploits. but it isnt easy and hard to pull off.

If someone helped me I would want to kill myself, because the only thing I do not leave this world, is because of the videogames. The game is P2P so if you have a high ping you gonna have a delay on the enemies reaction, which in turn can make stealth that more difficult.
Well, it can also somewhat be preventable by good coding. But it is the nature of p2p
it's a bit annoy when playing payday 2 online but this game is top notch

Enemies aren't fully awake though until they start attacking/screaming, and even then can be stunlocked. So a bit of desync won't be the thing that ruins your run

Same people, different studio, engine and game. Doesn't seem like the netcode is nearly as bad either.
I don't know much about netcoding to say how easy it is/isn't to make it better though

anyone else bully the sleepers by flicking lights on and off at them and throwing glow sticks at them?
last night we had to bully a bunch of sleepers into glowing in sync to get through the room

theres a difference between making something easier and completely removing any threat from it whatsoever

Allowing you to draw from the ammo pool instead of the mag pool isn't gonna brake the game

I'd say it could bad to draw directly from the ammo pool depending on how strong it is. Teammate can just force feed you ammo and let you shoot for days. Should still have a necessary reload, even if that means you load 100% of your ammo
keep in mind that the mg can kill everything but 2 very specific enemies in at most 2 shots
that has less ammo than the assault rifle

Buildup fire rate could also balance an idea like this out. Big mag, but you're pretty much forced to spray if you want to make it effective.

I really hope the security scan mechanic get tuned, it's getting annoying having to wait 20 seconds for the scan line to snake all the way down stairs, then take another 20 to go all the way back up after the initial split

Yep, another run lost to the RNG of the scanners. I'm all for RNG giving variety but when it's just up to luck whether you have to fight 1-2 extra waves merely because bad luck forces you to wait that long, it really makes the game grind to a halt
Well, big thing to keep in mind is that its really only a problem (for experienced players) for solo runs.
I'd love for them to tweak it as well but it probably isn't a high priority right now for them since it just doesn't affect the majority of players.
That time when your teammates are in position, but the horde straight at your face causes you to unload your SMG at short range for all headshots

Iβve only tested personally with Xbox and ps4 controllers this far, Iβve heard that others that tested with a switch pro controllers had some problems, Iβm gonna look into that.
Controllers are not super high prio ofc, the reason I spent some time on it was that Iβve always had it working until just before the EA launch and it bothered me that it was broken..:)

C2 was my last one i beat out of all of them
I'm still on the C's. Only tried C2 once, we got fairly close but didn't quite make it. I've been busy with the holiday madness & work, but I'm determined to beat D1 eventually. π
C2 is extremely hard, but that's also how I felt about B2. We'll get it done! If not the next, then the one after that.
B2 is fucking cancer, but in C2 if you can use the Terminals to minimize the amount of rooms you have to go into, it should be easy enough
in c2 ||on the final door, the big one with the red symbol, we started the security sequence and they mustve gotten stuck on a broken door.|| ive noticed that broken doors have a lot of issues, such as lights not going through and getting monsters and players stuck on them. definitely a bug and i hope it gets patched. honestly, an easy fix would be to make broken doors act as opened doors just unable to be closed. allow players to pass through the broken bits and stuff but maybe not allow projectiles through, but i dunno

honestly my thing with pretty much every level post b1 excluding c1 is they fall into the sameish pattern of sneak for supplies in this area we filled with the large mutants and then clear the waves at security door/obj after
it gets some variety but if you take out the special enemies it becomes a bit copy paste, and i hope they try and flesh out the specials and their places in levels more, because it definitely seems they have good ideas for mutants and their variants but i want to see them more central to a levels theme, especially the ones at the end of D1, you could do a lot designing a level around that

A run's failure can basically be summarized with "team opens door, it looks a little dicey, countdown
til the person with no patience makes the wrong move"
A good example was a couple of days ago on C2, we open the fog door, 2 ||spikey bois||, 2 shooters, a ||spikey boi|| near the back and a scout going up and down the stairs. Person A starts sneaking in, mistimes it, activates one of the front enemies and immediately starts shooting

I think they're still subject to the range thing, but yeah if a scream gets let off the whole room is going to alert quickly, which will cause a scout horde too.
Like, it isn't instant aggroing but if you don't take care of the first screamer fast it kinda cascades real quick.
tbh i wish we had an easier way to test some of this, especially because the range at which the normal sleepers aggro has felt more inconsistent since last patch
Agreed. Killed one guy and the one glowing right next to it was fine but the non glowing one behind a shelf 20 feet away got upset
I did one the other day where someone said one was constantly glowing but showed as dormant for me but i had a different one glowing constant in that room

SMG MG Mines and kiting for the 2nd alarm door. That or 3 c-foam grenades to keep it closed while you do all 3 scans.
I didn't kite, but I think I got lucky with the circles placement and it was technically kiting just running to them.

They do have an annoying tendency to meta-game and throw feelers when you're near them, so caution is very important obviously

Yes. Bring shotgun turrets. Conserve ammo. Don't set the turrets up in a long line. Have them on a choke point at the bridge or the forklifts.
Only have two up at a time until eight.

Try to get supplies from the entrance areas and make sure everything is unlocked before you start.
Only work your way back towards the reactor stuff in the higher levels.
Don't enter the code right away if there's a ton of enemies still up, yes they keep trickling until you enter it, but the cooldown will start immediately and you waste scavenging time
Send your worst shooter to do the code.

Yesturday I had the weirdest delay glitch
like everything was 5 sec delayed
and I lost my mind
dude we found a sentry glitch that acted like it had a target but couldnt be picked up after everything was dead for over 20 min lol

Me and my friend managed to two-shot a big striker with hammers from the back in stealth, and while at first we thought it was a bug since everyone's mentioned you need four folks or bust, we've gotten quite consistent at pulling it off now

From what I have gathered, it takes 3 vital parts to be pulverized in order to kill the target quickly. Head, Chest and Arm, so on so forth. I'm testing out overcharging hammers too as for some reason they seemed to do extra damage. But I will be doing more tests to be sure that these are reproducible.
Does anybody else feel like the final security checkpoint in C2 is a little unfair? I've had no problems up until this point with almost any teams I've played with, we've always been able to adapt to each others strengths and weaknesses. C2 as a level feels fantastic, but the end of C2 just feels like I'm hitting my head against a wall at times, which is frustrating because nothing else in the game has felt like that so far. No matter how much ammo or health we have, by the 4th round of security checks were just out of resources from the endless horde coming at us. It doesn't really help that the security checks throw us in really terrible positions either

Track down the decoders in the outlying areas to avoid opening 98 or 99, whichever doesn't have the key
Biotracker is handy to avoid getting ganged in the shadows by a horde of spikey bois you didn't see coming

Guess I just need to get luckier with some of the decoder locations. I'm aware how bad it is. I've been forced to open at least one of them every run. The rooms a joke to defend with only the entrance open

Last time I cleared it we had two groups - one group of two that did the circles, one group of two that funneled the enemy groups into kill zones

@queen thicket just throw a sentry in front of the ladder, one in front of the 98 or 99 and float one with wherever they spawn from. pretty easy really.

@queen thicket yea some of the best tools in that run is the terminal in the first map, Iβm sure youβve done it but being able to narrow down where the majority of the decoders are will help and will allow you to open one less door! And sometimes itβs better to just reset the game if theyβre so bad lol
Indeed. Knowing how many decoders to collect from a room will have you loitering less and evidently alarm less. Iβve primarily avoided Zone 98. Sometimes I get unfortunate as the key falls in there but in most cases zone 99βs entrance is pretty narrow enough to avoid any mass casualties
@idle veldt yeah I wrote the zones they're in on a notepad and just kept track of them throughout the entire mission we had no casualties during the entire run even with two scouts alerted
