Random Matchmaking would probably create more headaches than it solves at this point, as a good number of the random people you play with will have a different idea on how to proceed, possibly no mic, and very likely, not a skill set you are looking for in a teammate.

Yea, im not keen on having a matchmaking system implemented tbh. It would encourage players to behave badly and create a negative environment eventually... I quite like the lfg system we have here, people interact and come to an agreement before playing, it encourages cooperation even before the game has started. In my opinion it feels more meaningful this way

But the main purpose of the game is to communicate... i was once one of them, too anxious to go on VC and never wanted to. And quite honestly until today i still do have some anxiousness when i wanted to join someone's lobby, and i still do mentally prepare myself beforehand, sometimes it takes a good 5 to 10 minutes, and sometimes itll be, its now or never. But im also proud to say ive progressed, even by a tiny scale compared to others. If youre uncomfortable with speaking then just hop in while muting yourself to start with, eventually to gain more confidence. People arent forced to speak all the time too, just only when needed. So.. one tiny step at a time, have hope xD

The way I think they should implement matchmaking is when you host a lobby, click invite, you can go to public section, a list of players looking to join a lobby for the level you're hosting, and they can put a message to describe themselves or not, maybe it shows their completions and some other basic info

and then you invite the people you want, or you join them in waiting to be invited

or maybe a list of hosts, the opposite way around

that might be better
