well, there's a lot of screendoor effect in front of the eyes, edges blur out a bit because lens are bastards, the stock head strap is finicky and takes ages to set up, because of that getting the set itself to sit properly in a place where nothing blurs out or scars the eye is a pain, the cable is thick and, even suspended, gets in the way of proper 360 degree gaming and the controllers have just a liiiitle bit too few buttons to effectively replace regular game's controls

UE4 isn't a horrible engine no, but EGS is an anti-consumer dogshit platform that has been making the game indsutry incredibly closed and hostile. Especially with how Sweeny and the devs he pays to go to EGS have been talking about consumers.

Any dev that goes to EGS exclusively loses any respect I might've had, loses my attention, and will most likely fail if they haven't been paid off by epic to be profitable before launch.
Double points of "fuck you" if you set your game up on steam and use steam in your trailer/marketing then pull it last second and go to EGS.

That's shortsighted, you sell way more on steam and get more visibility. What Epic is doing is paying projects worth having enough to make them profitable without any sales. That's not competition, that's not steam being bad, that's forcing developers to choose between the better platform (steam) or making money no matter what.

Steam is the best, most consumer friendly platform we've ever had.
Steam never paid anyone to exclusively release on steam, not like epic's doing. And the fucked part is EGS is seemingly also allowing people to release anywhere BUT Steam. Epic is directly attacking the reason that PC gaming is so open and consumer friendly so they can make a quick buck by throwing fortnite money into the wind.
Their product can't stand against steam, so they use money to make their store viable without actually improving it. All the while Sweeny is out there shit talking the consumers.
Fuck EGS, and fuck any dumbass who exlusively throws your game on there. Anything on EGS is when I sail the seven seas.
