@modern anchor I have a question about the game regarding mechanics; can we expect to see complications similar to cameras, guards, lasers, etc per level in GTFO?

#

IE will there be levels where we can stealth vs loud

#

obviously not expecting the exact same stuff, but I hope my question is clear enough

@tawny prairie GTFO is not the type of game you're describing, where some levels are "stealth only" or "loud only" or a mix. I guess you're coming from Payday 2 but GTFO is not comparable to Payday 2 in that regard.

My understanding of GTFO is a 4 player survival horror coop game. Which now a days there isnt much coop survival horror like GTFO that's genuinely intense

@tawny prairie That being said, there will be a mix of loud and stealth experiences in GTFO, but it's a game where you will always benefit from going stealth as far as you can! And unlike Payday 2, the game can go back to stealth even after you've been "loud", so it can go back and forth within the same "level" (or "expedition" as we call them in GTFO).

GTFO and Payday 2 are both 4player PvE coop games, but they have VERY different pacing and atmosphere.

still, I would like to echo the question somewhat: I've seen the tendrils thing that looks into breaking up the stealth, but will there also be security systems of some description that need to be bypassed?

GTFO is much more slow paced with a lot of emphasis on exploration, stealth and the preparation before a battle you know is coming. Anything you can do to tip the fight in your favor - because you pretty much have "survival horror" levels of health and ammo.

-There's no limit to downs
-You don't die while downed, you perpetually stay like that unable to move or shoot until someone revives you

@coral pier We are more talking in terms of some puzzles requiring all players in the team, not strictly 4 people.
We're not techincally going to require 4players, but we are also not going to balance the game to run smoothly when playing alone. I can be done technically but... yeah it's going to be like running into a wall of meat and tentacles.
