The Tactical ops center was made to help boost attacking units since Defense often comes off too strong.
And considering how much people use it, i doubt you would see it removed anytime soon.

While coining is a part of the game for those that choose to do it, it is not required. This is not a reason to remove this boost but we are discussing this and other boosts as we plan some updates later this year.

I have run a poll a little while back, on removing Gold Boost from the game to level the playfield in one group on Facebook, 82% of the people who voted does want it gone.

That hardly means anything when the number of players who voted do not represent the majority considering they don't make up even 1 or 2% of the playerbase
