"The account was conclusively tied to multi-account abuse/ban evasion on polandballwiki"
Yeah, ok, the account was used by multiple people, even though we prohibited everyone who used it from editing with it on ANY WIKI other than the Future Polandball Wiki, which is not even part of the same community as the "Polandball Wiki" or whatever, it has absolutely nothing to do with it, it is just an archive wiki of an RPG gaming community.
I would also like to see the evidences if possible that the 'Doctor Sonic' account was used to edit on the Polandball Wiki, so I can punish whoever did it.
I'm not against you punishing whoever was involved in multiple account abuses in the "Polandball Wiki" under the 'Doctor Sonic' account. I'll 100% cooperate as I myself will severely punish whoever did so in our community, because that wiki has nothing to do with ours, that we used that account to access. Whatever happened with the "Polandball Wiki" is a problem that doesn't concern me.
Now, I already sent an email to '[email protected]' two days ago and no one responded. Could you respond me if you are at least be able to transfer the ownership of the Future Polandball Wiki to another account if you are not going to unlock the 'Doctor Sonic'?
#About the lock of the account

The email got flagged as spam, I've replied to move it back into inbox for an uninvolved steward to review and action.
user accounts policy should probably get an addendum to warn against this sort of circumstance since abuse by one sharing bad actor can be indistinguishable from any other
Our goal in using a single account was precisely to centralize as much as possible to avoid drama between members. Since the last time, on the old host, as people didn't know how to behave, there were a lot of problems. Therefore, any disagreement or drama related to content is handled outside the wiki so as not to compromise it. Now, this evildoer gets into troubles with "Polandball Wiki" or whatever and we can't access our wiki.
A single account shouldn't be shared by multiple people
That's enough to lock the account on its own
If you want rights back on the wiki, that can go through the local elections process if it was a public wiki
The wiki was restored to be a community archive, not to be opened or to have a "community" around it. It is closed for this reason, it has no users to make elections. My question is simple:
If 'Doctor Sonic' cannot be unlocked because of this and that, is it possible to transfer ownership of the wiki to another account?
Stewards have discretion with regard to that
Doctor Sonic shouldn't be unlocked though
From what you've said in here, I'd consider it a compromised account and given its use is shared I'd have no idea where to even start with whose the owner
I'm not sure how you'd start though because any of you would technically match Doctor Sonic and be abusing multiple accounts if you created a new one
It's a first in 5.5 years to have someone abuse a shared account
Given unique nature of the problem and lack of precedent, I've started a discussion with the other stewards on some potential resolutions.
Point one, first and foremost, is that single user account with shared login is no longer a viable approach.
Well, ok, if this is a condition for us to gain access back to our wiki, we accept it
Can I then create a personal account to claim our wiki as owner now? Other people of our community will not have access to this account obviously and will have their own accounts and logins that will be registered as members/administrators of the wiki once I regain access to it
In my opinion, you can't create an account without the permissions of Stewards. If they approve, that would be the way forward.
They have said they'll discuss internally how to resolve this. It's a first in 5.5 years that a community wiki was managed by a shared account that got locked cause 1 member abused it.
The individual in question in our community has already confessed the misdeed and has been punished. He, however, see, vehemently denied that he used 'Doctor Sonic' to make any kind of edits to "polandballwiki". Which in my opinion, if he is telling the truth, is a strong reason for 'Doctor Sonic' to be unlocked, since the only link of the account to his abuse of multiple accounts would be the IP, which wouldn't be a reason for a global lock, since for example, it would not be fair to equally ban two people who live under the same roof and as such use the same IP for the wrongdoing of one. At the best, it would be a reason for a block of the account on the "polandballwiki" in question maybe, just for the sake of you and the admins of that wiki being sure he won't be doing anything with the account, whatever as I have no interest at all in this drama, I just want the access to our wiki again, which has been locked amidst this.
if two people under the same roof misused the same account, they would both be held culpable because the action is indistinguishable, and that is the problem
Now, if there is a definitive proof that 'Doctor Sonic' made edits to "polandballwiki", I would like to see it
the realistic outcome I would think is that rights will be able to be assigned to properly split up account(s)
We agreed with this, if it's the solution/decision
All we want to know is when we will be able to create the accounts to get the ownership of our wiki back
unfortunately stewards are and always have been somewhat backed up so it may take a bit of time, but I will bump this with a <@&407534772542242816> ping as a matter of some sensitivity
I appreciate that
