Wiki persistently displaying “closed” message, pages not displaying properly | Miraheze | Page 1

Hey,

So my wiki at https://wanderingstars.miraheze.org has been having a fit lately and I can’t figure out why.

Last week, I made a new page on the wiki after having not made any edits for a while—there was an “inactive” status but I unchecked that in managewiki (I am the sole bureaucrat) and made some edits.

Yesterday I went to make a couple more edits to it and found that it now had a “closed” label. I thought this was odd so I went into managewiki and unchecked the “closed” box. Following this my wiki began to act very strangely. Pages that I know exist, like the “Main Page” were displaying as “Page Not Found” and eventually I started getting errors that precluded anything displaying at all.

Today I checked back to see if anything had changed. The “Wiki Closed” message is still persistently popping up despite me unchecking it a second time, and the pages themselves are displaying very odd behavior—existing pages on my wiki have been restored to an extremely old and outdated version of themselves, or are nowhere to be found at all. Furthermore, I can’t restore them to their current versions—any edit history for these pages reflects none of my wiki’s actual last state of revisions.

I also have a Phabricator request active to have a new theme installed on my wiki, but other than this I have nothing in particular going on with it other than text edits and making new pages.

What’s going on?

Just as a note, trying to log in to my wiki on mobile is resulting in a database error. I can’t even check if I do have editing permissions at the moment.

Looking at that thread, I made a number of contributions and edits long since the wiki’s creation; it’s not new

Another update, just checked: I added a description to my wiki since I had this issue to see if doing so would revert the same way the “closed” status has. Although the description field has been saved, showing that my management permissions are still intact, my wiki is once again in “closed” status despite my undoing that setting for the third day in a row.

Is there some sort of issue I’m not understanding about my wiki’s activity status, or is this entire thing just a glitch?
