Hi, I have multiple accounts that I would like to permanently vanish, however I can’t log into them. I have proof that they’re my accounts, but I can’t share their usernames here for personal reasons.

unless there's a good reason, I don't advise vanishing accounts

It's your right to request one and you can do it either via emailing Stewards or using TSPortal depending on whether you want to invoke your right in law to have personal data removed.

but there's no harm to having accounts lying around. We have half a million of them.

i know you cant delete accounts with mediawiki so i just need it wiped and anonymized

I will say that it's not foolproof

vanishing can be reversed

Data in discord would not be within scope of our data rights process. That's a matter for Discord.

As said, the vanishing process does not cover all areas

#

people may have their own logs

#

data is stored in other systems

#

signatures on comments are not classed as personal data and neither are edit summaries

yea i just want the discord messages of the bots in the feeds that have the usernames to be deleted

It's possible we'll do it but it doesn't fall within the data request process.

I do suggest you are careful with what you do online in future.

we simply can't remove every trace because we don't control every copy
