#Need some help with npcs

and there is no way to make the camera follow the main character?
you can maybe override the override with a another camera but that would probably be clunky and buggy
The last character you place acts as a main camera, if you place it inside your character with a seeker and look at rotator and hider it could work... xD
I would recommend using the orange characters as a placeholder for now, you can also change the color on them
i tried playing with the seeker but doesnt seem to work, thing is i have a few days to make the layout of a prison for a hitman level, trying to get hired for junior level designer, and i wanted to place the characters inside the prison so the gameplay makes sense, some patrols, some high value npcs for disguises and stuff
I remember there was a "follow" option in old camera (legacy)
I am gonna try sending you the seeker setup but I have no idea if it would work.
it worked pretty well
@unborn surge could you turn the camera normally?
no it's a fixed camera angle
but if you want to have a special 3rd person camera, just change settings in world > camera
you can make a shoulder camera with it for example
don't use actual characters as NPCs, it won't work
better wait npc update
or make custom robot npc with box, health modifier, seeker and look at rotator
i would wait tbh, but i gotta submit this project for next week, guess im just gonna make the map and explain how it would work in the documentation
i think your best solution is to make a custom robot cop so
then you move it by activating a seeker with raycast
so when the raycast detect the player it follow the player
i think that is not what he wants
it's a luttle tricky cause you have a lot of props to use and glue properly
oh it's not hostile npcs ?
no i dont need npcs active, but like i wanna place them around the prison so i can make the script around the mission
i just need them to be static
Yep the npcs can't be moved with a seeker, sorry
